Why do children have head lice?

Children have a smaller range of activities and their own resistance is relatively low. If you do not pay attention to your personal hygiene and come into contact with dirty things, you will be infected with diseases. Some parents observe that their children have lice on their heads. At this time, they should first check the hygiene conditions at home and consider whether the fleas on their pets have been brought to the children. Let’s take a look at the specific situation.

Head lice mostly occur in children and can be transmitted directly through close contact or by using combs, brushes, clothing and bedding from an infected person. When female lice come into contact with hair, they begin to lay eggs, which hatch on the scalp after about 7-8 days. The empty egg shells (like chaff) in the hair are easy to find.

To get rid of head lice you can take the following approaches:

1. Catch it by hand. The disadvantage is that it is slow. The advantage is that you can go to each one you meet.

2. Comb with a comb. This is faster, but it is easy for some fish to slip through the net.

3. Wash your hair frequently, once every two days;

4. Used towels, quilt covers and other items need to be exposed to the sun frequently;

5. It is recommended to use lice removal products, such as: Yujinshile Essence Cream, which has no side effects and only needs to be used for 5 days.

Lice are parasites that live on animals by sucking blood. If people have more contact with animals, they have the chance of getting lice, so pay more attention to personal hygiene.

Adult and nymph lice spend their entire lives sucking blood from the host. What to do if you have head lice?

1. Head lice often grow on hair, so as long as the hair is removed, the eggs and head lice will have no space to survive. If a child or a man has head lice, shaving the head is the most effective way to get rid of lice. For the sake of their image, girls may not be willing to take this approach.

2. If you don't want to shave your head, then you have no choice but to take lice-killing measures. Even if you don't shave your head, at least cut your hair short and comb it thin so that it is easier to clean and remove lice. Then wash your hair with sulfur soap twice a day for a period of time, usually a few days, and you can completely kill the head lice.

3. There are also special medicines for killing head lice on the market. Camphor balls soaked in water or camphor liquid, 84 disinfectant, Stemona tincture, Bichongling, Disadi and other medicines can effectively kill head lice. Generally, one or two washings are sufficient. It should be noted that these are all toxic to a certain extent. When washing, do not let them come into contact with your eyes, let alone your mouth. If they do come into contact with your eyes or mouth, please rinse with plenty of water. Do not use shampoo, conditioner, mousse or other hair products within three days after killing head lice.

4. You can also use aerosol insecticide to kill lice. I have personally seen the effectiveness of the insecticide. It can completely kill lice in one use. It depends on whether you dare to use it. When killing lice, people with head lice should wear a mask or respiratory protection, ask someone to help spray the insecticide on their hair, and rinse their hair with clean water every 15 minutes after spraying. It should be noted that lice control operations must be carried out away from fireworks. Aerosol insecticides are flammable, so be careful of fire and explosion.

5. In addition to the above medicines, there are some traditional methods, which are used by fewer people now. They can be regarded as folk remedies for removing head lice. The older generation uses them and they are very effective. Soak camellia oil cakes in water or boil the sap of the kumquat tree, and wash your hair once or twice a day for a few days, and you can completely kill head lice.
