Two-year-old babies are relatively young and have relatively poor physical constitutions. How should such a young baby be treated if his body temperature fluctuates? We all know that taking medicines has side effects, and it is also very bad for such a big baby. So, is there any way to treat a baby's fluctuating body temperature? The following methods are worth learning and understanding. First of all, children's body temperature fluctuates more than adults. In traditional Chinese medicine, this means that children's bodies are purely yang. For example, their fever is generally higher than that of adults, but their growth retardation is lighter than that of adults. In Western medicine, this means that their physical development is not complete and their temperature regulation mechanism is not sound. Parents nowadays tend to be overly concerned about their children, which amounts to spoiling them. When a child's temperature is slightly high, they give him intravenous drips and fever-reducing injections, not knowing that this is not good for the child. I think a child needs to get a complete illness several times to gain immunity, so that he won't catch colds and headaches often in the future. Using hormones when the temperature just rises will stop or weaken the body's ability to clear viruses. High temperature is a protective response of the body, so the reproduction of viruses will be inhibited, which is what Chinese medicine calls "the interaction between good and evil." Whenever a child in the hospital takes medicine and his temperature does not go down, and the parents put pressure on us doctors, we can only give him a shot of ahumidifier to reduce the fever, and we no longer consider the impact on the child's development. There are three common places used to measure body temperature, namely the mouth, armpits and anus. The normal body temperature is between 36.5℃ and 37.5℃ at the anus; between 36.2℃ and 37.3℃ at the mouth; and between 35.9℃ and 37.2℃ at the armpit. After measurement, any temperature that exceeds the normal range by more than 0.5℃ is called fever. A temperature not exceeding 38°C is called low fever, and a temperature exceeding 39°C is called high fever. Young children have a slightly higher body temperature than adults because their temperature regulation center is unstable and their metabolism is more active. The body temperature also fluctuates during the day. It is lower when you are at rest and higher when you are active. The lowest temperature is between 2 and 6 in the morning and the highest is between 2 and 8 in the afternoon. The fluctuation range is about 0.6°C. It turns out that the baby's body temperature fluctuating is closely related to the physical constitution. If this happens to you often, it is recommended that you go to the hospital for a check-up, because if it is due to other reasons, we can detect and treat it early. Only in this way can we stop this situation from happening and achieve a healthy body effect. Timely treatment is best. |
