What to do if baby has bruises on face

Many mothers will sometimes cause their babies to fall and get hurt due to accidents when taking care of their babies. Since babies have delicate skin, they are likely to have bruises on their faces when they bump into things. To quickly eliminate the bruises on the baby's face, mothers can apply some swelling-reducing drugs such as safflower oil to the baby, or they can use a towel to apply ice. So what should you do if your baby has bruises on his face?

1. You can apply cold compress within 24 hours after being bruised. The method is: apply a towel wrapped in ice to the injured area as soon as possible, for 20 to 30 minutes each time. It can not only stop bleeding and relieve pain as quickly as possible, but also cause local capillaries to contract, effectively reducing swelling. You can apply hot compress after 72 hours. The method is: apply a towel soaked in hot water or hot vinegar to the injured area, and change it every 5 to 10 minutes. Do it 1 to 2 times a day, each time for about 30 minutes. It is to improve the blood and lymph circulation in the injured area and facilitate the absorption of congestion and exudate in the injured area.

2. Wrap a boiled egg in a cloth and roll it back and forth on the bruised area to massage it. It will feel better.

3. Use banana peels and place them on green areas. The ingredients in banana peels have this effect.

4. Mix Yunnan Baiyao with wine to make a paste and apply it to the affected area to heal it.

If it is not serious, you don't need to worry about it. If the area touched is more serious, you can frequently give it a gentle massage and apply a hot towel. Don't make it too hot as the child's skin is delicate, so be careful not to get burned.

Suggestions: Massage and hot compress can speed up blood circulation and metabolism, so that bruises can be eliminated as soon as possible.

If the baby does not have any brain damage, these soft tissue injuries are not a big deal and don't worry too much.

Suggestions: It is recommended to use ice compress within 12 hours of injury to reduce edema. Within 12 hours after injury, you can apply safflower oil locally for massage to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis. Generally, you will recover in 1-2 weeks. Usually pay attention to take good care of your baby.
