Why is the inflammation in newborn babies so high?

Parents attach great importance to the physical health of newborns, because newborns must rely on their own resistance to deal with various health risks from the moment they are born. However, their own resistance is very low and is not enough to deal with serious infections and other factors. Therefore, many newborns are prone to diseases after birth. For example, why do newborns have very high inflammation? Let's take a look at the explanation below.

Newborns have poor resistance and are prone to infection due to their mothers' high fever. They are prone to high blood counts and other infectious diseases such as worsening jaundice and pneumonia.

It is recommended that you do not worry too much and immediately isolate the baby from the mother for treatment. Give antibiotic treatment, test skin and bile values, and use symptomatic medication according to the baby's own condition.

The increased inflammation in a newborn baby is generally considered to be caused by aspiration pneumonia during delivery, which leads to respiratory tract infection, usually accompanied by fever. Newborn babies have low body resistance and are not fully developed in all aspects, so they must be taken seriously.

This situation may be related to bacterial infection. Go to the neonatal department of a local regular hospital for a physical examination, blood test, routine blood tests, C-reactive protein, procalcitonin, blood culture, and biochemical tests such as drug sensitivity to find out the cause.

If the baby's blood items are high, it may be related to inflammation. The baby needs to go to the hospital for relevant examinations to confirm the diagnosis and receive symptomatic anti-inflammatory treatment. It is recommended to pay attention to the child's abdomen and avoid catching cold.

You need to go to a pediatric expert for a detailed examination. After finding out the cause, symptomatic treatment should be given and good care should be taken of the child. The indoor temperature should not be too high, the child should be fed water frequently, and attention should be paid to the color and frequency of the child's bowel movements.

You can choose sensitive antibiotics based on experience, or do a drug sensitivity test at the same time, and choose sensitive drugs for treatment based on the results of the drug sensitivity test, which will help reduce the fever. Antibiotics should be used as early as possible. When the pathogen is unknown, drugs can be selected based on the route of bacterial invasion, the age of the child, clinical manifestations, etc. Broad-spectrum antibiotics are usually used, or combined drugs are used for Gram-positive cocci and Gram-negative bacilli, and then adjustments can be made based on the results of culture and drug sensitivity tests.
