Children blinking vitamin deficiency

Children blinking vitamin deficiency

Many children have the habit of blinking, which we often call a syndrome of ADHD. Parents should also pay attention to their children’s daily diet and ensure that they get enough nutrition. Some information shows that it is common for children to lack vitamins, so parents should make sure their children eat more green leafy vegetables. If the vitamin deficiency is serious, vitamin supplements can be used directly, but this should be done under the guidance of a doctor.

1. Lack of nutrients

If a child has always been a picky eater, it may cause a lack of certain nutrients in the body, especially when the content of vitamins and trace elements in the body is relatively low, it will cause the neuromuscular emergency response to increase and lead to neurological dysfunction, so he will blink frequently.

2. Eyelashes

When a child has inverted eyelashes, the eyelashes will irritate the cornea and make the child feel very uncomfortable, so he will instinctively blink frequently.

If parents observe carefully, they can discover this phenomenon. As long as the inverted eyelashes are removed, the situation will be much better. 3. Eye fatigue

Most children nowadays use electronic products such as computers and mobile phones. If they are used non-stop, it will cause eye fatigue and symptoms such as dry eyes, itchy eyes, burning foreign body sensation in the eyes, blurred vision, decreased vision, eye swelling and pain, and orbital pain. Therefore, parents must control the time their children spend playing with electronic products, and at the same time pay attention to eye health, such as letting children look into the distance and do eye exercises when they have time.

4. Inflammation

If you find that your child not only keeps blinking but also has redness, itching, increased secretions, tears, etc. in the eyes, then it means that the eyes are sick and you should take your child to the hospital to check whether there is any inflammation.

5. Habitual blinking

If everything is normal for the child, then it may be that the child has a habit of blinking. Parents should tell the child not to do this and help the child to control himself, which can alleviate the problem.

6. There is foreign matter

If a tiny foreign object enters a child's eyes and stays on the surface of the conjunctiva, the eyes will feel very uncomfortable and the child will blink frequently. Therefore, if parents find such a situation, it is best to remove the foreign body immediately, otherwise there is a certain possibility of causing eye diseases such as keratitis or conjunctivitis. It is best to go to the hospital with the child and ask the doctor to remove the foreign body to prevent accidental eye injury.

What I want to tell all parents is that there are many possibilities for children's frequent blinking. The first thing parents should do is to observe carefully. If it is caused by certain diseases, it is best to go to the hospital for treatment immediately.
