What season is eczema most likely to occur?

Eczema is a very common skin disease. Its main symptoms are itching and stinging of the skin, and this discomfort is more intense at night. Eczema can occur anywhere on the body. If your skin has the above symptoms, you may consider whether you have eczema. Children are especially prone to eczema, which causes many parents to worry. So in what season is eczema most likely to break out?

In theory, rainy days are most likely to cause eczema, but the causes of eczema are very complex and can be divided into two types: internal and external factors.

First of all, external factors mainly include various physical and chemical factors, such as environment, climate, sunlight, ultraviolet rays, cold, humidity, scratching, friction, cosmetics, detergents, soap, chemical fibers, fur and bacterial infections of the skin, which can induce eczema. Especially in summer, when the climate is hot and humid, mites and fungi are particularly prone to breeding, which can easily induce eczema.

Secondly, the internal cause is mainly that the patient has an allergic constitution. The allergic constitution may be related to genetic factors and may change with age and environment. Mental factors are also an important part of the inducement, such as mental stress, insomnia, overwork, and autonomic nervous dysfunction. In addition, endocrine, metabolic or digestive dysfunction, intestinal parasites, and certain lesion infections are all prone to eczema.

Finally, there is humidity all year round, but damp heat is more likely to occur in the summer when there is more rain and the air humidity is high. You will often feel that you cannot sweat and your whole body feels sticky. Dermatitis and eczema are skin diseases caused by dampness and heat, which can cause skin papules and erythema. In severe cases, ulcers may occur, causing skin pigmentation and seriously affecting the patient's normal life.

It is obvious that eczema is more likely to occur in the summer. Although it is rare in the winter, eczema is also very common. Therefore, no matter what season eczema occurs, patients must actively seek treatment and pay attention to their own eczema symptoms according to the season.
