If the patient loses consciousness for a short period of time after the fall, his face turns pale, his cry is weak, his body becomes limp, and he does not respond to his name or speech, then you need to go to the hospital immediately and you cannot waste any time.

Also, within two days after the fall, if there is repeated vomiting, excessive sleep, poor spirits, or severe crying, or within two days after the fall, there is bleeding, water discharge, or uneven pupils in the nose or ears, and the child must go to the hospital.

Generally, if you fall and hit your head and cause severe concussion or intracranial hemorrhage, the symptoms will appear quickly, at the latest within 24 hours, so you should go to the hospital as soon as possible if you have symptoms.

Don’t let him sleep even if he wants to. If he has a serious head injury, he will fall asleep easily and it will be difficult to wake him up after falling asleep, which will delay precious treatment time. In addition, if the baby falls asleep after 3 hours, wake him up every hour or so to observe whether he is drowsy or difficult to wake up.

During this period, check whether the baby has vomited, his mental state, whether he is irritable or too quiet. At this time, the person who usually takes care of the baby must take care of the baby because she is most familiar with the baby. She must observe and feel whether the baby is different from usual. If the baby vomits, is listless, irritable, or too quiet, it is not normal and the baby must go to the hospital immediately for a doctor's evaluation.

If a bump appears on the head, you can apply an ice pack or a cool towel to the bump to promote capillary contraction and coagulation, and relieve the baby's pain; or you can apply some sesame oil, or apply some moist potato slices.
