Lump on baby's injection site

After a baby is born, injections are a very important treatment method, whether it is for vaccination or treatment of certain diseases. Some parents will find hard lumps on the places where their babies have been given injections. This is usually caused by poor local metabolism and will not affect the health of the child. 1. Apply hot compress .

Hot compress can promote blood circulation in the nodule area, accelerate the absorption of the medicine, and play a role in dissipating the nodule. The sooner you apply heat, the better the effect. The method is to fold a towel or gauze into a square, soak it in 60-70 degree hot water, wring it out slightly and apply it to the nodular area, change it every 5 minutes, continue for 20-30 minutes, at least 1-2 times a day. The effect will be better if you do massage at the same time.

The purpose is to relax local muscles, dilate blood vessels, accelerate blood flow, promote the absorption of medicine, and soften and dissipate lumps. The method is to pour 50 ml of 50% magnesium sulfate solution (bought at the pharmacy) into a bowl, add 10 ml of hot water, then soak gauze or a small towel (use 3 pieces alternately) in the solution, wring it out slightly, and apply it to the nodule. It is best to cover it with a hot water bottle to keep it warm. Change it every 5 minutes, continue for 15-20 minutes, 2-3 times a day.

Cut a fresh potato into slices, each slice is about 0.5-1 cm thick and slightly larger than the lump. Cover the lump with potato slices, then secure it with two strips of tape. Remove them after 24 hours and the lump will be significantly smaller. Apply another piece the next day. Generally, the lumps can disappear after a few days of external application.
