How to treat baby's milk curds?

Every baby is the center of the whole family, especially those who are breastfeeding. Because of their poor physical fitness, they are very prone to diseases. Many mothers find that their babies have milk curds during this period. Most mothers do not know how to deal with this situation when their babies have it. So, how to treat the baby's milk curd?

First, how to treat the baby's milk curds? The baby's stool contains milk curds and is in a flowery pattern (the stool is loose and resembles an egg flower pattern), 5-6 times a day. At this time, the time and amount of breastfeeding should be reduced. To improve the milk curds caused by poor protein digestion, if the milk curds in the baby's stool do not exceed the size of a grain of rice, it is generally considered to be within the normal range and the mother does not need to worry too much. However, when the curds in the stool are larger than rice grains, parents should pay enough attention. In fact, curds are formed when the baby cannot digest protein. The undigested protein combines with the minerals in the food to form curds. For breastfed babies, mothers should try to reduce the protein intake in their own food, that is, eat less high-protein food; for babies who are mixed with formula milk or bottle-fed, they should switch to formula milk with small molecule hydrolyzed protein to improve the baby's indigestion of large molecule milk protein in ordinary milk powder.

Second, the shape of normal stool is related to the feeding method. The stools of breastfed babies are golden yellow, occasionally slightly green and relatively thin; or they are ointment-like, uniform, sour and without foam. Normally, the neonatal period has more bowel movements, usually 2-5 times a day, but some babies may have 7-8 bowel movements a day. As the child grows older, the frequency of bowel movements will gradually decrease, and after 2-3 months the frequency of bowel movements will be reduced to 1-2 times a day. Therefore, if a breastfed baby has looser stools or more frequent bowel movements, parents do not need to worry as long as the baby is in good spirits, is feeding well, and is gaining weight normally. If the baby is fed formula, the stool is usually light yellow or khaki, dry, rough, like a hard paste, and often has an unpleasant fecal odor. If there is more sugar in the milk, the stool may become soft and have a slightly rotten odor, and the amount of stool will be larger each time. Sometimes there is grayish white "milk curds" mixed in the stool.

How to treat milk curds in babies? Milk powder is not as easy to digest as breast milk, so some fat or protein may not be fully digested. After saponification, the fat combines with excess calcium in the body, and the unabsorbed part forms something like "milk lumps". This is normal. Because children have weak digestive abilities, milk powder must be prepared in proportion, and the concentration cannot be too high. By following the correct method to transfer milk, you can improve the situation by giving your baby small and frequent meals. Most babies' illnesses are caused by catching a cold or indigestion. It is recommended to use medication under the guidance of a doctor. You can take Smecta, Mommy Love, Xiaoer Jianpi San, and Ji Neijin San for treatment. Remember to have your baby drink plenty of water. Breastfeeding mothers should have a light diet and avoid eating raw, cold, and irritating foods. At the same time, don't forget to keep your baby warm.
