Is it okay for children to use teething sticks?

We all know that many mothers will buy some teething sticks for their children during their teething period. The purpose of buying teething sticks is not only to make the children's teeth grow faster, but also to allow the children to adapt to the teeth. Moreover, many teething sticks are made in the shape of biscuits, which contain more nutrients and are suitable for babies. So is it good for children to use teething sticks frequently?

During the baby's teething period, you can choose a teething stick with moderate hardness to rub the gums to promote the timely growth of the deciduous teeth. Mothers can also use sterilized medicated gauze dipped in warm water to help their baby clean their teeth and relieve toothache.

In most cases, children's teeth erupt naturally and there is no feeling. Some children also experience local redness, itching, drooling, biting hard objects or fingers, biting nipples during breastfeeding, etc. These symptoms usually disappear naturally after the teeth erupt. Therefore, using a teething stick when your child is teething can relieve the discomfort of teething.

It is good to use teething sticks for your baby during the teething period. Because babies need something to grind their teeth during the teething stage. Babies love to bite people during this period, so this is why babies need to grind their teeth. Therefore, it is recommended to use a teething stick for babies.

Babies who are about to teethe can also eat teething sticks. When a mother finds that her baby drools a lot and always likes to bite things and gnaw on his fingers, it means that the baby teeth are about to erupt through the gums. You can either put it directly in his hand and let him eat it by himself, or you can soak it and feed it to him, which can prevent him from biting it off and getting stuck when he eats it by himself.

It should be possible, but please note that teething biscuits are only for babies to grind their teeth. Adults should be present when using teething biscuits. If the baby bites off a piece, take it out in time and do not let the baby swallow it, otherwise the baby will choke.

Another suggestion is that you can wash dried sweet potatoes and use them as teething sticks for your baby. Note that you should use whole small sweet potatoes, about 10 cm long is better, so that the sweet potatoes are not easy for the baby to bite off.
