Disadvantages of kissing children

Seeing the cute baby, everyone can't help but want to give him a kiss. Everyone likes to use kissing to express their love for their baby, but in fact, kissing can also cause illness. Some babies have even lost their lives because of kissing. This is not an exaggeration. Doctors say that newborns have tender skin, their internal organs and tissues are not yet fully developed, and their bodies have weak resistance to bacteria and germs, which can easily cause problems in the child's body. So, should we kiss our children? What are the disadvantages of kissing children?

1. Don’t wear heavy makeup

Many cosmetics contain a certain level of lead, mercury and other substances. Once these substances enter the baby's body, they can easily cause heavy metal poisoning in the baby. Mothers should avoid wearing makeup as much as possible when in contact with their babies.

2. Don’t kiss your child mouth to mouth

Kissing a child mouth-to-mouth is the most direct way to transmit hundreds of types of bacteria in an adult's mouth to the baby. If you really want to kiss your baby, you can kiss the cheek instead of directly on the mouth.

3. Don’t let outsiders kiss your child

Parents or relatives will have a general understanding of their own physical condition and will know when to be in moderation when being close to their children. But some outsiders, when they see that a child is cute or want to express their love, will go up and kiss the child. At this time, parents must learn to say no, because they don’t understand the other person’s physical condition. If they carry a virus and infect their children, the consequences will be disastrous.

4. Don’t kiss your child’s hand

Young children have a habit of putting their hands in their mouths. If you kiss your child's hand frequently, the child is likely to put his or her saliva-stained hand into his or her mouth, which indirectly increases the risk of the baby being infected with the virus.

5. Stay away from your baby when you are sick

When adults know that they have highly contagious diseases such as colds, dermatitis, hepatitis, oral inflammation, etc., they should refrain from kissing babies, breathing on babies, or sneezing on them. If conditions permit, try to keep your baby's tableware separate, and don't blow on the food to cool it down.
