What to do if your two-year-old child vomits

Vomiting is a very bad phenomenon. Different degrees of vomiting will have different degrees of impact on people. When a child vomits, we need to pay attention not only to finding out the cause, but also to find the factors that cause vomiting and choose appropriate methods of treatment. These are very important, so as to avoid burdening the body as the disease worsens.

Reasons for baby vomiting

1. Improper feeding or eating:

(1) Overfeeding

If parents feed their baby too much milk when the baby is still young, exceeding the limit that the baby's body can bear, it can easily cause vomiting. The baby's gastrointestinal tolerance is not as strong as that of an adult and it is easily harmed.

(2) Problems with milk and food combination

If the formula of the milk powder contains substances that are incompatible with the baby's other foods, or if the milk powder is of poor brand or has quality problems, it will also cause harm to the baby's digestive tract and stomach. If the baby swallows a lot of air while drinking milk, it is more likely to induce vomiting.

2. Abnormal digestive function : If the baby suffers from an infectious disease, such as common pediatric diseases - upper respiratory tract infection, bronchitis, and pneumonia. Not only will the child have a fever, lose his appetite, feel nauseous all the time, but he will also vomit frequently.

3. Digestive tract infectious diseases: Some common diseases such as gastroenteritis, dysentery, appendicitis, etc. can cause vomiting, accompanied by stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, etc.

4. Neurological diseases: When the baby suffers from central nervous system diseases such as encephalitis, meningitis, intracranial hemorrhage, tumors, etc., vomiting can also occur.

5. Metabolic disorders : When the baby suffers from metabolic disorders such as uremia, hyperammonemia, abnormal amino acid metabolism, etc., vomiting symptoms are very likely to occur.

6. Mental factors: If the baby is too nervous for a long time, it may also cause vomiting.
