Baby's skin itchy at night

Baby's skin itchy at night

During the day, because the body is moving, the blood circulation is faster, and the symptoms that appear are very mild and almost imperceptible. When it is late at night and everyone is asleep, the body will feel uncomfortable and unable to sleep. Especially for many babies, their body resistance is very poor, so skin itching often occurs, which requires reasonable control and regulation.

What to do if baby has urticaria?

1. Do not let your baby scratch with his hands, as the more he scratches, the more itchy it may become. This is mainly because scratching the area will increase the local temperature and cause the blood to release more histamine (allergens), which will make the condition worse.

2. Do not apply hot compresses. Although heat can temporarily relieve local pain, it is actually another form of stimulation because heat can tense blood vessels and release more allergens. For example, soaking in a hot spring or bathtub in the winter, or keeping warm by wrapping yourself in a heavy quilt can easily cause urticaria.

3. Avoid eating foods containing artificial additives. Eat less fried foods that are more likely to induce thermal reactions in the body. Also avoid spicy and irritating foods and aquatic products such as fish and shrimp.

4. Eat more fresh fruits and vegetables rich in vitamins, or take vitamin C and B complex, or B6 in the B complex.

5. Eat more alkaline foods such as: grapes, green tea, kelp, tomatoes, sesame, cucumber, carrots, bananas, mung beans, pasta, etc.

6. Get more rest, avoid being too tired, keep your bed sheets and blankets clean, and keep the room quiet.

7. Pay attention to finding allergens. Combined with previous medical history, if you find that you are allergic to a certain food or medicine, you should stop using it immediately and take laxatives to promote the excretion of allergens in the intestines.

8. Encourage your baby to drink more water and keep bowel movements smooth.

9. Don’t eat eggs. If you are allergic to lactose, don’t eat milk powder containing lactose.
