12-year-old girl's nipple inversion

12-year-old girl's nipple inversion

Inverted nipple is a common manifestation of breast deformity. If an adolescent girl has inverted nipples, it may be congenital, or it may be caused by infection, tumors, and other reasons. Inverted nipples in girls are very detrimental to breast hygiene and future breastfeeding, and need to be corrected.

1. Concept

Nipple plastic surgery refers to the surgery to repair inverted nipples. Although inverted nipples are invisible to outsiders, women feel uncomfortable when they admire themselves. More importantly, inverted nipples (inverted nipples) themselves are a kind of breast deformity, and some are even the external symptoms of malignant tumors in the breast. Before puberty, women's breasts do not develop and their nipples are very small. After puberty, as hormone levels in the body change and menstruation comes, breasts begin to develop and nipples gradually grow larger and more prominent. Although the nipples of unmarried women and non-pregnant women are smaller, they all protrude above the areola plane. If part or all of the nipple is lower than the areola plane, or even concave inward and sunken under the skin, resulting in a local crater-like shape, this is called inverted nipple (retracted nipple).

2. Hazards

Inverted nipple is a common nipple deformity. Most cases are congenital, while a few are secondary to infection, trauma, tumor, etc. The inverted nipple area is difficult to clean and is prone to accumulation of dirt, secondary infection, inflammation, and interference with breastfeeding.

It hinders bodybuilding and affects breastfeeding. Due to inverted nipples, they are often pulled out forcibly during breastfeeding. At this time, the nipples are very delicate and can easily be damaged, ruptured and bleed once they are collided, which can cause infection of the nipples and even the entire breast, and eventually lead to mastitis.

3. Correction Methods

1. Manual traction: Adolescence is an important period for breast development and also an important period for correcting inverted nipples. Regularly pulling the nipples can make the breasts protrude, increase the supporting strength of the surrounding skin, and play a "shaping" role. Several times a day. Over time, the nipples will naturally bulge outward. If you can't pull it out, push the skin of the breast near the nipple outwards first.

2. Suction therapy: After pregnancy, use a breast pump to suck the nipples several times a day, using the negative pressure to cause the nipples to bulge.

3. Nipple correctors are used to treat flat or inverted nipples.

4. Mild primary nipple inversion can be treated conservatively, such as using nipple negative pressure suction and manual traction. If the nipple cannot be pulled out manually, surgical treatment is required. Inverted nipples can be corrected through plastic surgery or with a nipple correction device.

5. Nipples are very important sexual sensitive points for women. The sexual desire of many women is achieved through nipple stimulation. Once the nipples are sunken, it is difficult to exert effective sexual stimulation and may even affect the male's sexual desire.
