Why do children always have mouth ulcers?

What causes mouth ulcers in children? Oral ulcers in children are quite painful because their mouths hurt and they cannot eat. Even drinking porridge will be painful, and children with oral ulcers will often drool, which will cause a lot of trouble for mothers. Anyway, let’s first look at the causes of oral ulcers!

(1) Oral ulcers in children caused by vitamin B deficiency. Children's lack of vitamin B will cause various oral inflammations, such as angular cheilitis, cheilitis, glossitis, etc. When these inflammations occur, they will cause pain or burning sensations, cracks or small ulcers, and some will also have oral mucosal ulcers.

(2) Oral ulcers in children caused by excessive cold or heat in the body. Oral ulcers may be caused by overheating of the heart and spleen due to the weather or children eating a lot of high-calorie foods. Some children are also prone to oral ulcers due to their weak and cold constitution.

(3) Oral ulcers in children caused by trauma. Children are prone to oral ulcers due to bacterial infection caused by bumps, punctures, etc. This condition is easy to cure and the chance of recurrence is not high. It usually takes about three days for the medication to take effect.

(4) Oral ulcers in children caused by systemic diseases. (5) Oral ulcers in children are caused by various factors, such as nutritional factors, infectious factors, mental factors, and genetic factors. Children are prone to the disease if they lack trace elements such as zinc and iron, and lack folic acid. Children may become overly excited or anxious about certain things, which may lead to oral ulcers. If both parents suffer from recurrent oral ulcers, then there is a 50% chance that their child will suffer from oral ulcers.

Oral ulcers are prone to recurrence, and there are quite a few causes of oral ulcers listed above. You can give symptomatic treatment based on the cause of your child's oral ulcers, and the condition will get better. In normal times, we should actively prevent oral ulcers, so the chance of their occurrence will be lower and it will not cause so much pain to children.
