What is the reason for children's chicken breast

Pigeon chest in children is a very common disease in daily life. It not only causes great harm to the patient's physical health, but also seriously affects their normal life. People need to seek medical treatment in time when they find related symptoms and choose appropriate treatment methods according to their own physical condition in order to recover health as soon as possible.

What is the cause of chicken breast disease?

The doctor explained that the causes of pigeon breast disease are:

1. During the fetal or infant period, the unbalanced development of the sternum, spine and ribs causes chest deformity.

2. Infants and young children do not get enough nutrition after birth and suffer from certain malnutrition diseases, such as rickets in children. Over time, this can affect the development of the sternum and cause chest deformity.

3. Secondary to diseases in the chest cavity. For example, in some congenital heart diseases, the enlarged heart compresses the chest wall, forming a pigeon chest deformity.

Experts suggest that if the degree of pigeon chest is mild, it will generally disappear naturally with age; severe cases will be difficult to heal throughout life, so parents should take their children to the hospital for professional diagnosis and treatment. At the same time, children should be encouraged to do some corrective exercises to help expand the chest and enhance respiratory function. Chicken breast is a symptom of calcium deficiency. Pay attention to nutrition, supplement calcium and vitamins reasonably, and combine work and rest.

How to prevent chicken breast?

1. Mothers should pay attention to nutrition in the late stages of pregnancy, eat more eggs, animal livers and other foods rich in vitamin D and protein, sunbathe frequently, and take vitamin D and calcium supplements under the guidance of a doctor.

2. Newborn babies should be breastfed as much as possible because vitamin D and other nutrients in breast milk are easily absorbed. When you start adding complementary foods to your 4-month-old baby, do not focus on cereal foods, otherwise it will affect the absorption of calcium salts in the diet. Foods rich in vitamin D, such as eggs and liver, should be gradually added.

3. Sunbathing is the most convenient, economical, safe and effective way to prevent rickets. After the baby is one month old, the time he or she spends in the sun can be gradually increased. Under normal weather conditions, about 2 hours of sun exposure a day can meet the need for vitamin D. Avoid direct sunlight in the summer and play in the shade of trees. When sunbathing, do not use glass, a hat or a mask to protect against rickets.

4. Taking medicine on time is also an essential preventive measure. The baby should take vitamin D and calcium supplements under the guidance of a doctor within half a month after birth, and go to a health care unit for regular health checks.

Gymnastics and exercises for children to correct their body shape:

1. Breathing rise and fall exercise: stand with feet shoulder-width apart, relax your body, close your eyes slightly, and gently raise your arms forward to the top of your head while inhaling. Pause for a while, let your arms fall naturally, accompanied by deep exhalation. Do this several times a day, each time for 10 minutes.

2. Do push-ups or raise your arms in front of you with dumbbells 3 to 4 times a day, each time for 10 minutes.

3. Do somersaults on single and double bars on an empty stomach every morning, but don't overexert yourself.

4. Jogging helps to enhance visceral activity, expand breathing volume, and improve chest hypoplasia.
