Why is my baby particularly afraid of heat?

Children's physiques are different from adults, so their sensitivity to the environment is also different. Children are generally not particularly afraid of heat. If they are afraid of heat, it may be a sign that there is fire in the child's body. They may also show symptoms such as dry mouth and yellow urine. Once parents find that their children have such a condition, they should treat them in time. So why is the baby afraid of heat?

Why is my child particularly afraid of heat?

If a child is particularly afraid of heat, it may be a sign of excessive liver fire. There are two types of liver fire in children: deficiency and excess. The symptoms of excess deficiency fire include irritability, dry mouth, low fever, night sweats, etc. Symptoms of excessive real fire include dry mouth, recurrent oral ulcers, short and dark urine, irritability, etc.

What are the symptoms of a baby with liver fire?

1. Difficulty falling asleep, easy sweating after falling asleep, restless sleep in the second half of the night, frequent changes of sleeping posture and position. Some children will sit up in a daze, lie down in another position and then sleep again, and some will even dream and wake up because of being frightened by the dream. Most of these children like to sleep on their stomachs, and some even snore and clench their teeth (grind their teeth).

2. They are particularly afraid of heat and tend to kick off the quilt and lift up clothes when sleeping, exposing their belly. Some even take off their clothes in the middle of the night. Children who are impatient and sweat easily should pay attention.

3. The child's tongue, lips, and cheekbones are reddish. Some children even have red palms. They also have a rapid pulse, bad breath, and dry and hard stools. These children tend to be picky eaters, have poor appetites, are thin, and sweat easily above the chest when sleeping.

4. Due to the heavy heart fire, the child's personality is more impatient, prone to temper tantrums, and stubborn.

Effective treatment for children's fear of heat

(1) Control your diet. Let your baby eat more green vegetables and fruits, mainly light food, which can effectively reduce the "fire" in the body and alleviate the symptoms of liver heat. Eat less fried and spicy foods that may cause your baby to get angry. In addition, your baby's snacks should be controlled and he should not drink beverages with high sugar content.

(2) Drink more water. Water helps to flush toxins from the body more efficiently. Especially in the dry season, it is important to replenish water in time.

(3) Get more rest. Nighttime sleep is the best time for the body to recover. Let your baby develop a good schedule.

(4) Excrete on time. Let your baby defecate on time every day, the best time is in the morning, so as to prevent excrement from staying in the baby's body for too long and causing toxin accumulation.

(5) Choose appropriate clothing. Don’t think that children are particularly afraid of cold. Babies are fully capable of adapting to occasional temperature changes. Don't add too many clothes to your baby too early when the weather just starts to get cold.
