What are some ways for students to restore their vision?

When you walk into the campus, you will find that many young students are already wearing myopia glasses. Children's eyesight is low. This is a very serious problem nowadays. It is not only a matter of great concern to parents, but also has attracted widespread attention from the society. In order to improve students' eyesight, schools will do some work, such as asking students to do eye exercises every day, but this is far from enough. Parents need to do more work, such as supervising children to develop good eye habits, providing children with adequate nutrition, and letting children go out for more exercise instead of sitting at home reading and studying all day. Finally, children should learn the following simple methods to effectively improve eyesight and persist in doing so for a long time.

1. Eye-rolling Method

Choose a quiet place, sit or stand, relax your whole body, clear your mind, open your eyes, keep your head and neck still, and only move your eyeballs. First, look directly below, then slowly turn to the left, then to the top, to the right, and finally back to the bottom. In this way, turn clockwise 9 times. Then let your eyes move from gazing downwards, to the right, to the top, to the left, and then back downwards, and do this six times in a counterclockwise direction. Do this 4 times in total. With each movement, the eye should move as far as possible. This eye-rolling method can exercise the eye muscles, improve nutrition, and make the eyes flexible and bright.

2. Eye Breathing and Concentration Method

Choose a place with fresh air, sit or stand, relax your whole body, look straight ahead, slowly inhale enough air, open your eyes wide, pause for a moment, then slowly exhale, slowly close your eyes, do this 9 times in a row.

3. Ironing Eyes

It is best to do this method while sitting down, relax your whole body, close your eyes, then quickly rub your palms together to generate heat. Cover your eyes with both hands while they are still hot. After the heat dissipates, suddenly remove your hands and open your eyes at the same time. Do this 3 to 5 times. This can promote blood circulation in the eyes and enhance metabolism.

4. Eyewash method

First disinfect the basin, pour in warm water, adjust the water temperature, put your face in the water, open your eyes in the water, move your eyeballs up and down, left and right 9 times each, and then rotate clockwise and counterclockwise 9 times. At first, when water enters the eyes, the eyes will feel extremely uncomfortable, but as the eyeballs move, the eyes will slowly feel very comfortable. If you feel difficulty breathing while doing this exercise, you may lift your face out of the basin and take a deep breath outside. This method can wash away harmful substances and dust in the eyes. It is also effective for mild cataracts and can improve the degree of refractive errors such as astigmatism, hyperopia and myopia.

5. Wash your eyes with warm or cold water

It is well known that alternating between warm and cold baths can improve blood flow in the body and help promote natural healing. The same applies when used to wash the eyes. This is to promote blood circulation around the eyes or improve the function of the hair-like muscles. This method can be performed at home at any time. If you persist, you will definitely get great results. (After washing your eyes with cold water, prepare warm water and a steamed towel. Repeatedly using warm and cold water to wash your eyes is very effective in relieving eye muscle tension and fatigue.

6. Night sky gazing

Gazing at the night sky is more than just looking at the stars. First look at a star for 2-3 seconds, then look at the stars in another direction. Repeat this and practice continuously. The coldness of winter nights is a good stimulation to the eyes. At the same time, the clearness, brightness and tranquility of the night sky also have an excellent effect on the eyes. Waking up in the morning when the air is clear and gazing at the distant mountains is also a good way to train your eyes.

7. Flash Method

Flicking is the process of briefly looking away to look at something. In short, it means just a quick glance. Anyone with poor eyesight has a bad habit of staring without blinking, so it is often effective to use the flash method to train eyesight. Glance at something quickly and lightly, then close your eyes and recall what you saw. Be careful not to force yourself too much, as this will negatively affect your ability to see clearly and your vision.

8. Viewpoint Movement Method

That is the method of shifting attention from one point to another. Observe something with an analytical eye. People with normal vision usually observe things in this way. This is the original structure of the eyes. If the eyes do not see things together with the heart, it seems impossible to develop normal vision. Vision is connected with the heart. Practice: When watching TV, do not stare at the entire screen in a trance. Instead, watch from the upper right to the lower left, from top to bottom, from the center to the upper left, while quickly changing your viewpoint. When moving your eyes, do not always use the same visual pathway. Sometimes you can use the opposite pathway. Remember to blink easily while watching.

9. Digital Method

It is a method of restoring vision by using numbers on calendars, clocks, magazines or signs to move your vision. Why use numbers? Because numbers are the simplest words, and even the most myopic can still distinguish numbers and their shapes, you can use this to conduct self-tests and make judgments. For example, hang a calendar at eye height, at a distance that you can see clearly: face the calendar, remember a number, then close your eyes and move to the left, then move back to face the calendar, open your eyes instantly, and look for the number in your mind. Close your eyes again and move to the right, following the same method as above. Exercise yourself by moving back and forth like this.

10. Pitching Movement

For example, watching golf and bowling games. Give your eyes exercise. You can also toss a small ball (object) with your left and right hands and follow the movement of the object with your eyes. I personally think this is also a way to train yourself to quickly get rid of the bad habit of staring and allow your eyes to move flexibly.

11. Long-distance running method

As the saying goes, weakness starts from the feet and eyes. Indeed, the most tired symptoms are likely to appear in the eyes and feet.

As long as your feet feel tired, your eyes will also feel tired. Conversely, as long as your feet are strong, your eyes will also be healthy. The acupoint that is closely related to the eyes is the Shugu point, so stimulating this point can strengthen the strength of the feet. If you want to improve your eyesight, the best thing to do is to run long distances to strengthen your legs. According to the law that health depends on the balance of yin and yang, people who usually sit in the office should do more long-distance running, which will be beneficial to their health. If people want to maintain a balance between body and mind, they should pay attention to the health care principle of combining stillness and movement. If possible, it is best to do eye exercises while running long distances. It is best to practice blinking or eye movement at the same time. If you persist, you will see results.

12. Dark Training Method

Leaving myself and my roommate in the dark bed;

Wait for about 10 minutes until you get used to the surroundings and can see around you slowly, get used to the lights, and let your eyes return to nature, so that your tired hair muscles can rest.

If you get used to the dark environment, you can start a pleasant discussion, allowing each other to communicate with each other, talk naturally, and your mood will improve.
