When caring for your baby’s private parts, pay attention to these details!

There are many things to pay attention to in the process of taking care of the baby. After all, the baby is very small and all aspects of the body are not yet fully developed. For example, in the issue of baby's private parts care, we must consider the different body structures of boys and girls, and there must be some differences in details. Especially for the care of baby girls, we must not be careless. Now let's take a look at the specific differences in baby's private parts care.

1. Baby boy private parts care

Cleanliness is the first priority. After the baby has a bowel movement, the area around the anus should be wiped clean first. First, wet a soft towel with warm water and wipe off the dirt around the anus; straighten the penis with your hands, and gently wipe the base and the places inside where dirt is easily hidden, but don't use too much force; dirt is also easy to accumulate in the wrinkles of the scrotal epidermis. The mother can use her fingers to gently spread out the wrinkles and wipe them. Wait until the private parts are completely dry before changing into a clean, breathable diaper.

Notice:

When wearing diapers, be sure to press the penis down so that it rests on the scrotum. The purpose of doing this is to prevent the baby's urine from washing up and wetting his clothes when he urinates. In addition, it can also help the baby's penis remain in a natural drooping state to avoid affecting the appearance of his clothes in the future.

2. Baby girl private parts care

A baby girl's sexual organs have two parts, the external sexual organs and the internal sexual organs, so you must be especially vigilant against bacterial invasion. After defecation, use a wet towel to wipe off the dirt from front to back; use a wet towel to slowly wipe off the dirt around the labia minora. Wipe clean even after urinating. You can fold the towel into a long thin strip and then slide it in the groove of the labia minora to wipe it. Dirt is also easily stuck in the gap between the thighs. The mother can use one hand to open the gap, and then gently wipe it with the other hand, and then put on the diaper after the baby's butt is completely dry.

Notice:

Baby girls should wear underwear early to minimize direct contact between dirty bacteria from outside and their genitals.
