Can a child with 200-degree myopia not wear glasses?

Can a child with 200-degree myopia not wear glasses?

As parents, we should certainly pay attention to children's myopia problem. However, when facing the problem of children's myopia, whether they should wear glasses should be considered. We should pay attention to the degree of myopia. Generally, myopia of 200 degrees will affect children's study, reading, etc., so we should pay attention to wearing glasses.

1. Whether to wear glasses or not does not just depend on your degree, the key is your eyesight. If your 200-degree vision is good and can reach 0.8 or above, it doesn’t matter if you don’t wear it normally. If your 200-degree vision is very poor, only 0.6 or less, you must wear glasses. A vision of 0.6 will make things blurry, and being in a state of fatigue for a long time will cause the degree of myopia to worsen.

2. The idea that your hair won’t get darker the more you wear it is completely wrong! Myopia is not caused by wearing glasses. Think about it yourself, if people who were not nearsighted become nearsighted, is it because of the glasses? Adolescents will definitely experience changes in vision during their developmental period. Whether you wear glasses or not, as long as your optic nerve is in a state of fatigue, your vision will deteriorate and the degree will increase.

3. It is impossible for teenagers to completely avoid eye fatigue during the junior high and high school period, but glasses can effectively relieve fatigue. Think about it, is it better for children to have blurred vision for a long time or to have clear vision? So you can take your child to check his or her eyesight (or you already know your child’s naked eye vision). If the eyesight is good, you don’t need to wear it. If the eyesight is poor, it is recommended that you wear it.
