How to deal with yellow and cloudy eyes in children

For every mother, the health of her baby is the most important thing. If the baby has any problems, it can be said that the mother will be very anxious. Many babies have yellow and a little turbid eyeballs. Mothers don’t understand these, so they always don’t know what to do. The following will introduce to you how to deal with yellow and turbid eyes in children.

1. Preventive care

Eat and drink in moderation, do not be addicted to alcohol, do not eat unclean food, and do not eat spicy, fatty, or sweet food. Patients with jaundice should pay attention to rest, keep a good mood, and eat a light diet. Once the disease is discovered, it should be isolated and treated immediately, and its eating utensils and utensils should be disinfected, and its excrement should be buried deeply or disinfected with bleach. After jaundice subsides after treatment, it is not advisable to stop the medication immediately. Treatment should be continued according to the condition to avoid recurrence.

2. Prevention and health care of neonatal jaundice

During pregnancy, the mother should pay attention to dietary hygiene, avoid alcohol and spicy food, and do not abuse drugs. If the pregnant mother has a history of jaundice, she can take jaundice Yinzhen Granules orally. The time from diagnosis to delivery should be more than two months. After the baby is born, the skin jaundice should be closely observed for timely diagnosis and treatment. Pay attention to situations where it appears too early or disappears too late, or the jaundice gradually deepens or reappears, so as to break the infection in time.

3. Notes on blue light care:

Blue light therapy uses a blue fluorescent tube with a wavelength of 420-470nm to irradiate the skin of newborns, which can convert indirect bilirubin in serum and skin of the irradiated area into photo-oxybilirubin, which is then excreted from the body through bile and urine to reduce the content of indirect bilirubin.

Pour distilled water into the blue light bed basin, adjust the temperature to 30-32 degrees, 32-36 degrees for premature babies/newborns, humidity to 55%-65%, 30-50CM from the upper lamp, 20-30CM from the lower lamp, measure vital signs before phototherapy, record the degree of jaundice, wear an eye mask and diaper, measure vital signs every 2-4 hours, ensure water supply, and give sugar water between 2 feedings.
