The world of autistic children is dark. They have social barriers. There is no laughter or language in their world. They live in their own world. Some of them repeat stereotyped movements and behaviors. Such children need more attention from society. 1. Core symptoms: social interaction disorder Some children lack eye contact with their loved ones and lack facial expressions in infancy. When someone wants to pick him up, he often does not stretch out his hands like a normal child to show the posture of expecting to be picked up. When parting with his parents, he has no obvious expression of attachment, and shows no happiness when seeing his parents. When seeing strangers, he has the same expression as when seeing his parents. Sometimes when his name is called, he often ignores and has no reaction. They hold their parents' hands to go somewhere when necessary, cannot point at things, and rarely nod or shake their heads to express agreement or refusal. These are common manifestations of social disorders. 2. Silence or less use of language Most autistic children speak very little, and in severe cases they even do not speak at all, and will not respond even when someone calls them loudly. Although some children can make sounds, they are unable to complete situational communication. They often scream, hum, or make "words" that others cannot hear or understand, or talk to themselves, which is also called "egocentric language." In addition, some children may previously have normal speech skills, but experience a sudden decline in speech skills between the ages of 3 and 4.5, and thus lose the ability to communicate in situational situations. 3. Stereotyped and rigid behavior in dealing with the environment Children with autism often have unusual interests and unusual ways of playing. They often focus on one or several games or activities for a long time, such as being obsessed with spinning pot lids or spinning on the ground. They often have a special fascination with certain objects or activities, and will hold the fascinated objects all day long, for dozens of days. Some people have stereotyped, repetitive behaviors and peculiar movements and postures, often pacing back and forth, spinning on their own, walking in circles, and jumping repeatedly. |
