What foods should children eat less? Eat less of these 7 foods

Parents need to pay attention to their baby's diet. Do not feed babies the food we usually eat, especially salt. Babies under one year old are strictly prohibited from eating salt. Babies should also be given less sugar. Mothers should pay more attention to the diet of babies under one year old to ensure their healthy growth.

1. Salt

The baby's digestive system and kidney functions are not yet complete, and they cannot digest the sodium ions in salt well, and may even cause sodium poisoning.

2. Almonds

Babies cannot eat almonds. When pregnant women eat almonds, it is easy to cause miscarriage, and if the baby eats almonds, it will cause vomiting and dizziness, and in severe cases it may even die.

3. Honey

Honey can easily be infected with a type of botulinum toxin that produces toxins. The baby's gastrointestinal function is not strong enough, and the baby can easily be poisoned by the more toxic toxins. Therefore, do not feed the baby honey or honey water when the baby is young, otherwise it will cause nausea and vomiting in the baby, and in severe cases, the baby may die.

4. Sugar

Many babies like to eat sweet things, such as candies. However, if babies eat too much sugar, it will not only easily cause oral hygiene problems, but also reduce their appetite. Moreover, eating too much sugar will consume trace elements in the baby's body, thus affecting the baby's physical health and greatly reducing the baby's immunity.

5. Cold drinks

The baby's gastrointestinal mucosa is still in a fragile state and is more sensitive to the temperature of food. Drinking cold drinks can easily damage the gastric mucosa. Moreover, beverages are not suitable for babies, especially those containing saccharin or pigments, which will affect the baby's growth and development.

6. Animal fat

When many mothers prepare complementary foods for their babies, they must remove the fat from meat. The baby's gastrointestinal function cannot effectively break down the substances in animal fat, which will lead to calcium loss, causing calcium deficiency in the baby. In severe cases, it can also cause diarrhea in children.

7. Egg white

The baby's stomach and intestines are not fully developed yet, the tissue membrane of the intestinal lining is relatively transparent, and the molecules in egg white are very small. Sometimes they will directly pass through the intestinal wall into the blood and cause eczema in the baby.
