How to improve children's vision

Children need to protect their eyes well when they are very young. Why do many children nowadays suffer from myopia and astigmatism? It is because they are not well protected. Many parents will worry when their children’s eyesight deteriorates. What are the ways to improve children’s eyesight? In fact, when children’s eyesight deteriorates, it will also affect their growth. What are the ways to improve children’s eyesight? The following is a detailed introduction.

1. You need to increase your exercise, such as playing badminton or table tennis.

Ophthalmologists have found that the eyes must quickly follow the ball while playing, which is very beneficial for the improvement of eye function in children aged 5 to 9. The age of 5 to 9 is the most critical period for children's eye development. Experts believe that the decline in children's vision is closely related to excessive academic pressure and lack of ball sports, especially highly flexible ball sports such as badminton.

When a badminton flies at high speed, the human ciliary muscle contracts, the suspensory ligaments of the lens in the eyeball relax, and the lens relies on its own elastic curvature to expand and increase its refractive power, allowing the direction of the incoming ball to be seen clearly. When the returning ball goes far away, the opposite happens. The ciliary muscle relaxes, the suspensory ligaments connected to the lens become tense, and the lens becomes flat, ensuring that the badminton in the distance can be seen clearly. In the continuous hitting and returning of the ball, the key parts of the child's eyeball, such as the ciliary muscle, lens and suspensory ligament, are exercised, which has a certain auxiliary effect on curbing the development of amblyopia and myopia, and even on the treatment of esotropia (cross-eye).

2. To improve children's eyesight, you can use a children's myopia treatment device.

It can effectively improve eye blood microcirculation. At the same time, it can repair eye cells, enhance the functions of healthy cells, restore the functions of damaged cells, improve eye blood circulation, and increase eye nutrition, thereby effectively improving children's vision and thoroughly treating children's low vision eye diseases.

3. Telescopic method: look at the grass or green trees 10 meters away.

Since green light has a shorter wavelength, it forms an image in front of the retina, which relaxes the eye's accommodation and ciliary muscles, alleviating eye fatigue. When you are looking at something, don't squint or blink even if you can't see it clearly. Eliminate distractions, concentrate, and stare at it intently for 25 seconds to identify the general outline of grass or leaves.

Then place your right palm 30 cm in front of your eyes and observe the palm lines carefully for about 5 seconds. After looking at the palm lines, continue to stare at the grass or leaves in the distance for 25 seconds, and then look at the palm lines again. Repeat this exercise 20 times every 10 minutes, three times a day. If your eyesight is severely impaired, you should increase the number of training sessions.

What are the methods to improve children's eyesight? If children's eyesight declines, it will be harmful to their health. We need to master some methods to improve children's eyesight. I hope that the above methods to improve eyesight can provide children with better eyesight. Moreover, children's eyes must be well protected. They should exercise more outdoors, which can also relieve eye fatigue.
