What should I do if my child has ringworm on his face?

The problem of ringworm on children's faces will greatly affect their external image, and the skin of many children is very tender, which is very susceptible to invasion from other parts of the body, leading to large-scale ringworm problems on our own skin. We can apply some anti-allergic drugs appropriately to prevent the growth and spread of bacteria. Let's talk about what to do if children have ringworm on their faces.

1. Medicinal vinegar therapy: Take 100 grams of Sophora flavescens, add appropriate amount of edible white vinegar, and soak for 3 to 5 days. When bathing daily, add 30-50 ml of Sophora flavescens vinegar solution to the bath water, or use a cotton swab dipped in the solution to apply to the itchy area, 2-3 times a day, for 5-7 days.

2. Tincture therapy: Take 20 grams each of Polygonum multiflorum, Millettia spatholobi, and Agkistrodon acutus, add appropriate amount of high-quality liquor, and soak for 1 week. When bathing daily, add 30-50 ml of the solution to the bath water and use it for 5-7 days.

3. Medicinal bath therapy: Take 30 grams each of Schizonepeta, Saposhnikovia, Sophora flavescens, Luffa, Cnidium monnieri, and Angelica sinensis, decoct them in water to extract the juice, put them in the bathtub for bathing, 10 to 20 minutes each time, 2 to 3 times a day, 1 dose per day, for 5 to 7 consecutive days.

4. Umbilical filling therapy: Take equal amounts of safflower, lithospermum officinale, gardenia and rhubarb, grind them into fine powder, add appropriate amount of borneol, mix evenly, and bottle for later use. When using, take a small amount of the powder each time, add Vaseline to make it into a paste, apply it to the navel, bandage it with a dressing, and secure it with adhesive tape. Change the dressing once a day and use it for 1 to 2 weeks.

5. Foot bath therapy: Take 10 grams each of Sophora flavescens, Ringworm peel, Cnidium monnieri, Insect skin, Lithospermum officinale, and Saposhnikovia divaricata, decoct in water to extract the juice, put it in the bathtub, and soak your feet when it is warm, twice a day, each time for 10 to 30 minutes, 1 dose per day, for 5 to 7 days.

6. Patching therapy: Take equal amounts of Tribulus terrestris and Polygonum multiflorum, grind them into fine powder, and bottle them for later use. After bathing every night, take an appropriate amount of the medicine powder, add a little rice vinegar to make it into a thin paste, apply it to the Yongquan acupoints on the soles of both feet, bandage with dressings, and secure with adhesive tape. Apply it every night and remove it the next morning. Use it for 7 to 10 days.

The best way to deal with ringworm on a child's face is to pay attention to our own skin hygiene. You can also apply some acyclovir. Acyclovir is very effective in alleviating the problem of ringworm on our own. During the treatment period, do not eat some irritating foods.
