What are the benefits of children learning tennis?

Tennis is a sport that many people love very much, and many of these people are children. I think this is something that many people did not expect. So is it really good for children to learn tennis? Or are there some other things we need to pay attention to when playing tennis? Today I will take you to understand some precautions when learning tennis. I hope everyone can adopt them and have a healthy life.

1. Things to note when playing in spring

1. Warm up thoroughly

After the cold winter, when you play basketball for the first time, you must do a thorough warm-up, and it is best to keep the amount and intensity of exercise to a smaller level. Due to the cold winter, you may rarely play outdoors during this period. When spring comes and flowers bloom, you walk onto the court with high spirits. Note that this is the time when all sports injuries are most likely to occur. This is true for both amateur and professional players. Because when the weather gets warmer in early spring, your body's muscles, joints, ligaments and other physiological functions have not completely adjusted from the winter state, and it takes a process. Although the weather is a little warmer, if you get excited and do some difficult technical moves that you rarely do in normal times, your muscles, joints, ligaments, etc. will become unbearable, and you will be in danger. Therefore, when you participate in your first activity after the spring, you must warm up thoroughly, and the amount and intensity of exercise should be smaller. Then, after several consecutive playing sessions, gradually increase the amount and intensity of exercise until you reach your best state when playing normally.

2. Matters related to clothing for playing ball in spring

When warming up before practice, be sure to put on more and take off less. As the warm-up effect gradually increases, take off your clothes appropriately. Never wear too little when you go on stage. On the one hand, you will catch a cold. On the other hand, being too cold will cause stiffness in your muscles, joints, and ligaments, making it impossible to practice normally, and even cause sports injuries.

When your body starts to sweat slightly and you need to take off your clothes while playing, you should try to keep the outermost clothes windproof and warm. It is best to wear a sports windbreaker.

After playing, you should change your sweaty underwear immediately to avoid catching a cold. Be sure to put on your clothes before your body feels cold and do some relaxation exercises appropriately.

3. Matters related to the use of tennis equipment

For most golf enthusiasts, after a winter break, the frequency and duration of their play may be reduced accordingly. After the spring, when we pick up the racket and go on the court again, we will feel that our skill level has dropped significantly. You may hear people say “Why can’t I play basketball anymore?” In fact, this is not just because you are not good at playing tennis, it is also likely that there is something wrong with your racket strings and they need to be replaced. In addition, if you are still using the same tennis ball as before, you may feel uncomfortable playing because the pressure inside the ball has changed, making it softer or heavier. Therefore, replacing your racket strings and balls in time is also a way to help you get into playing state smoothly in the spring.

4. Things to note when playing golf during the rainy season

Many golfers in the south, in the rainy season, should pay attention to the following when they go to the golf course to play golf in good weather:

1) There must be no water on the ground. It should be kept as dry as possible to ensure that it is not slippery and the ball will not get wet.

2) Don’t get too excited just because the weather is occasionally great. When playing on the court, you should proceed step by step, strictly control the amount and intensity of exercise, and never use overly violent movements.

3) If it rains again while you are playing ball. You should leave the venue quickly and do not play in the rain. On the one hand, you will catch a cold, and on the other hand, the wet and heavy ball will increase the burden on your hands. In addition, the ground is slippery and you may fall easily, so doing this is very dangerous.

2. Things to note when playing in summer

1. You should also insist on doing adequate warm-up activities

At present, there are quite a few enthusiasts and some professional players in China who, when playing in winter, do relatively thorough warm-up exercises to prevent sports injuries. But in the hot summer, due to physical strength and weather factors, we often feel that just doing some simple exercise is enough. This often prevents the body from smoothly entering a good state of exercise. During practice and competition, the body is easily fatigued or suffers sports injuries.

Therefore, the hotter the weather is and the more lazy you feel, the more you need to warm up. On the one hand, it can excite your body functions and get you into a good exercise state; on the other hand, it can also prevent you from exercising with a lazy and tired body, which can make you more likely to suffer sports injuries.

2. Avoid prolonged exposure to the sun as much as possible

In the hot summer, if you expose your body to the harsh sunlight for a long time, it will not only make your body tired faster, but also make you prone to heatstroke. In addition, as the ozone layer is becoming less and less protective, the damage to the skin caused by the scorching sun cannot be ignored.

Therefore, when playing under the scorching sun, it is best to wear a light-colored hat. Also, never go shirtless, as it is not only unsightly but can also damage your skin.

3. Drink water appropriately and frequently

Generally, in hot seasons, drink more than 500 ml of water about an hour before practice or competition. It is usually better to choose to drink diluted sports drinks, which not only tastes refreshing but is also easier to be absorbed by the body than ordinary water.

During practice and competition, you should also drink water frequently, but only one or two sips each time, never too much.

Many people start "binge drinking" immediately after practices and games. This practice is absolutely not advisable, as it will greatly increase unnecessary burden on your stomach. Also, remember not to drink real "ice water" to avoid excessive stimulation to the throat and causing you to become "voiceless".

4. Control the amount and intensity of exercise

According to each person's physical condition, you should arrange appropriate exercise time and intensity. Generally, in the hot summer, do not practice for too long. Once you feel tired or uncomfortable, stop practicing in time to avoid heatstroke. The intensity of exercise should not be too high, just keep it at about 70% of normal exercise.

5. Change your wet T-shirt in time

When playing ball in the summer, try to bring a few more cotton sports T-shirts so that you can change them in time when the T-shirts are soaked with sweat. Because wearing a wet T-shirt will consume more heat in your body during the drying process, making you more tired. In addition, if you do not change your sweaty underwear in time, it will increase the growth of skin bacteria, of which "sweat stains" are a typical example.

Playing tennis is a very healthy sport, so here I would like to suggest that everyone should make good use of some conditions around us to keep our bodies in a very healthy state. Only in this way can we have a better future.
