What to do if you have congenital skull deformity?

We often see many pregnant women who have no choice but to have abortions because of fetal deformities. If such measures are not taken, the baby is likely to be deformed after birth. There are more and more social information platforms nowadays. In addition to the influence of increasingly harsh environmental factors, the daily living habits of pregnant women may also have a direct impact on fetal deformities. What should be done if there are congenital deformities?

What are the causes of fetal malformations?

1. Drug abuse during pregnancy. If women abuse drugs during pregnancy, it will directly affect the growth and development of the fetus in the body, and sometimes cause premature birth, miscarriage or stillbirth. Therefore, once pregnancy is discovered, a careful examination must be carried out or the pregnancy must be abandoned.

2. Virus infection during pregnancy. Virus infection not only affects the health of the mother, but also poses certain risks to the fetus, such as the typical syphilis serological test and HIV. There is no need to say much about AIDS. I believe that every prospective parent does not want an innocent child to be born. Syphilis can affect fetal development, cause gynecological diseases in the mother, and affect the implantation of the fertilized egg. If not treated, it may cause infertility in the future.

3. Excessive sexual activity during pregnancy. For women, pregnancy is not like completing a task. Getting pregnant is not the end of the story. After all, eggs and sperm have a growth cycle, so the quality of a fetus conceived through frequent sexual intercourse will not be very high, and it is very easy to have miscarriage or premature birth.

4. Excessive fatigue or extreme joy or sorrow during pregnancy. Poor rest and mental depression will affect the combination of egg and sperm. Excessive fatigue will cause insufficient oxygen supply to the fetal brain and affect fetal development.

5. Smoking and drinking heavily during pregnancy. If pregnant women smoke, the fetus will suffer from growth retardation, weight loss, premature birth or congenital heart disease, and the child's intelligence will be affected. If a pregnant woman drinks excessively, the fetus may suffer from fetal alcohol syndrome and cause fetal malformations.

6. Exposure to harmful or toxic substances during pregnancy. Excessive exposure of pregnant women to chemical pesticides, lead, X-rays, etc. may cause fetal malformations and may also cause the fetus to suffer from diseases such as leukemia and malignant tumors.

7. Playing with cats, dogs and other pets during pregnancy. Otherwise, pregnant women may be infected with various pathogens, such as Toxoplasma gondii, and directly transmit the fetus, causing fetal malformations.

8. Pregnant women over 35 years old. As eggs age, chromosomes are more susceptible to mutation, which increases the risk of congenital malformations or congenital idiocy in the fetus.

9. Women who have given birth to anencephaly, spina bifida or other fetal malformations. After another pregnancy, prenatal testing and genetic counseling should be carried out. Because the risk of them giving birth to another child with the same abnormality is much higher than that of ordinary pregnant women.

Therefore, in order to prevent fetal malformations, the first thing we need to avoid is the situation we mentioned above. Examination before pregnancy is also very important, so that we can prevent the occurrence of passion at the source of pregnancy.
