What causes newborn irritability?

Many young people are helpless when facing their children's constant crying after they are born. If the child was originally very quiet and suddenly starts crying, parents must check the baby to see if the child is uncomfortable, or distract the child in other ways. This is also a kind of newborn irritability. Let's take a look at what is going on with newborn irritability.

If a child's tongue is magenta, it is a sign of vitamin B1 deficiency; a bad temper and irritability may be a sign of vitamin B2 deficiency; a child with a lack of vitamin B6 is prone to anorexia, loss of appetite, etc.; the causes of oral ulcers in adults are complex and are related to endocrine system and staying up late. However, the reasons for oral ulcers in children are relatively simple. Most of them are probably due to a lack of vitamin B2, so oral ulcers are also a sign of vitamin B deficiency.

If the newborn is breastfed, it is natural that he will have a satisfied expression when he is full and sleep very soundly. If a newborn is particularly irritable and cries incessantly, this may be because the breastfeeding mother lacks vitamin B, resulting in a lack of vitamin B in breast milk.

Everyone knows that breastfeeding is a way to calm a baby. But if the baby is not hungry, you have to use other methods to calm them down, such as gently rocking them, or using toys to make continuous rhythmic sounds, or washing their feet with warm water, or dressing them, wrapping them in blankets or quilts to keep them warm, etc. Usually, some continuous stimulation can stop babies from crying, slow their heart rate, even their breathing, reduce their movements, and increase their sleep time.

The above is the introduction to newborn irritability that I would like to introduce to you here today. Here we need to remind you that parents should not blindly feed their children as soon as they cry. Sometimes a child’s crying does not mean that he is hungry. After all, the baby is still young at this stage and cannot express himself. Parents can only rely on themselves to observe and explore more.
