What to eat for children with acute gastritis

Acute gastritis can be considered a serious illness for children, and this disease is also very painful for children. The first thing to do is to send the child to the hospital for treatment, and follow the doctor's instructions for other matters. After that, you should also pay special attention at home. For example, children with acute gastritis need to drink more water to replenish the lost salt and water. After the vomiting and diarrhea stop, you can drink some millet soup, etc., and drink more water. Be careful not to eat meat at this time. Eggs and other foods.

Dietary conditioning is very important for curing chronic gastritis in children. Generally speaking, children's food should follow the principle of "fine, soft, tender and rotten". Childhood is the peak period of growth and development, and children need nutritious foods such as milk, stewed eggs, fish, soy products, noodles, porridge, fresh vegetables and fruits. In addition, you can eat some foods that help stomach digestion, such as yam, lentils, lotus seeds, pork tripe, etc. The following dietary therapies are suitable for children:

1. 500g white radish and 150g honey. Dice the radish, put it in boiling water and cook it, take it out and dry it in the sun for half a day. Then put it in a pot, add honey and boil it over low heat. Mix well, cool it down and bottle it. Take 3 tablespoons daily. It is suitable for children suffering from stomach bloating, belching and acid reflux.

2. Add 20g of maltose into 250ml of soy milk, boil and drink on an empty stomach. Suitable for children with dull stomach pain, cold hands and feet, and fear of cold.

3. Take 50g each of lotus seeds, glutinous rice, and coix seeds, and 15g of brown sugar. Soak the lotus seeds in boiling water until they swell, peel and remove the core, put them into a pot, add water and boil for 30 minutes, then add rice and coix seeds and boil, simmer over low heat until soft, add brown sugar and eat. It is suitable for children with upper abdominal pain, weight loss, loss of appetite and greasy tongue coating.

After the condition has eased, you can slowly start to eat some egg soup, egg custard, porridge, lean meat paste, noodle soup and other foods. Remember that at this time, which is the recovery period, you should eat some easily digestible and less irritating foods. Parents can make the food softer and more tender, and the food should be light.
