What conditions can cause a baby to be deformed?

Everyone knows that there are many precautions to take during pregnancy, such as avoiding all chemical products, not wearing makeup, not doing nail polish, etc. However, many women nowadays still wear makeup for the sake of beauty. Although it is difficult to say that it is chemical-free and only for pregnant women, it is still better not to use it for the health of the baby. If your baby is accidentally born with a deformity, what are the causes? Let’s listen to the experts’ opinions.

During the development of the fetus, the fetus is affected by teratogens, which will cause cell division, changes in tissues and organs leading to deformities or even death. This damage is extremely serious and irreversible to the fetus. The severity of the deformity caused by teratogens depends on the following three factors: the number of weeks of gestation, the dose of teratogens, and the fetus's physique, that is, the genetic genetic form.

Reason 1: Sleeping on an electric blanket

When the electric blanket is powered on, an electromagnetic field is generated. Under the interference of electromagnetic fields, the normal division of fetal cells will suddenly change, and bone cells are particularly sensitive to magnetic fields. Therefore, pregnant women who use electric blankets for a long time may give birth to babies with bone deformities. The higher the temperature of the electric blanket, the greater the impact of the magnetic field on the fetus.

Reason 2: Hot water bath

Studies have shown that if normal, non-pregnant women of childbearing age soak in 39°C water for 15 minutes or 41°C water for 10 minutes, the temperature of their vaginal walls can reach 39°C. If a pregnant woman soaks in 42°C water for 15 minutes, it will cause great harm to the fetus's central nervous system. Pediatric experts investigated women who stayed in hot baths for 40 to 60 minutes every day during pregnancy and found that the incidence of malformations increased significantly. It is also reported that long-term outdoor showers are harmful to the body. Because the hot water in the shower is sprayed and decomposed into countless tiny particles, a large amount of water vapor is generated, which increases the volatilization of harmful chemicals in the water. For example, it can turn 50% of methyl chloride and 80% of vinyl chloride into vapor, which can be absorbed excessively by the human body and cause harm to the body. There is no doubt that if pregnant women take long hot showers, it will not only harm themselves, but also bring serious adverse consequences to the fetus.

The most important period is the third month of pregnancy, as that period is most likely to cause fetal abnormalities, and miscarriage is also likely if care is not taken. However, there are many reasons for child deformity, including genetics, consanguineous marriage, sexual life, stimulation from chemical products, etc. Therefore, many aspects should be paid attention to during pregnancy, and pregnant mothers should pay attention!
