Mothers don’t need to worry. As the baby grows, his swallowing ability improves and the drooling phenomenon will generally disappear by around three years old.

Pathological causes

It mainly refers to the baby drooling due to certain diseases, such as oral ulcers, mucosal inflammation, cretinism caused by neurological diseases, mental retardation and other problems. At this time, mothers should pay attention and not delay the disease, and take the baby to the doctor for treatment in time.
