How to treat stuttering in children in life?

Nowadays, the developmental status of children is the most concerned issue for young parents. Many times, young parents lack life experience and have no idea what they should pay attention to when it comes to their children’s growth status. Today, I will introduce one of the language problems of children, that is, the solution to the problem of how to treat children's stuttering. I hope everyone can pay attention to it.

The psychological reactions of stutterers in childhood are different from those in adulthood.

There are two types of stuttering in young children. One is the so-called type of stuttering. When people feel nervous, the corresponding muscle groups usually become tense. Due to genetic differences, 2% of people will tense up the muscles in their throats when they are mentally nervous, resulting in stuttering. The second situation is acquired influence. In this case, the stuttering patient himself does not have any problem. His stuttering is learned in childhood, and the learning process is related to the surrounding environment.

Stuttering usually occurs before language habits are formed at the age of 7 to 8. If your child has only had this condition for one or two months, the stuttering may not be serious and the chance of being cured is very high. However, as a parent, you need to pay attention to the following:

1. Try to keep your child away from people who stutter;

2. Try to keep your children away from stressful environments, such as riding roller coasters in amusement parks, watching horror movies, playing video games, etc.;

3. Don’t scold your child for stuttering, and don’t remind him. When you notice that your child is nervous, you can gently touch him and tell him “Don’t be anxious, speak slowly”. When he encounters difficult words, say them for him to reduce his nervousness and let him gradually forget about stuttering.

4. You can recite nursery rhymes with your children slowly, for example: "Goose, goose, goose, song, neck, toward, sky, song, white, feathers, floating, green, water, red, paw, paddle, clear, waves" and so on. Let your child develop the habit of speaking in a relaxed state of mind.

I wonder if after the detailed and scientific introduction I gave above, everyone should have some basic understanding of how to treat children's stuttering. When our young parents find that their children have symptoms of stuttering, they must pay attention to it in time and not blindly ignore it or take tough measures.
