How to determine if a child has ADHD?

It is a child’s nature to be playful. I believe most people’s childhood is crazy. Because I don’t understand, I’m not afraid and just play without any care. But some children enjoy playing much more than others. They seem to have endless energy and just want to move around constantly. Sometimes, this is not normal and may be a symptom of your child's ADHD. Today I will tell you how to determine if your child has ADHD.

Active and playful children have interests and hobbies, but when they encounter something they like, they will focus their attention. However, children with ADHD tendencies have almost no interests or hobbies, and can hardly concentrate on anything, sit still, or calm down. The simplest way to judge is that most children like to watch cartoons and play games. Children who are usually very playful will watch their favorite cartoons seriously when they see them. If adults interfere with them, they will hate you and will be completely immersed in enjoying the cartoons. This shows that the child does not have ADHD, because children with ADHD can hardly do anything seriously and cannot concentrate for a long time.

Playful children often do things with a certain purpose, plan and arrangement. For example, after returning home, they watch cartoons first and then do their homework. Although they watch TV very seriously, as long as the cartoon is over, they will still consciously want to do their homework. But sometimes children who are not interested in learning do not want to do their homework, but if their parents urge them, they will still do their homework. Children with ADHD do not have this characteristic. Their actions are often impulsive and chaotic. They are active when watching cartoons and doing homework.

Playful children like to play, are curious, have quick minds, are quick to react, and do things quickly. Everyone thinks that playful children are smart. However, a small number of children with ADHD tendencies have slow reactions and inflexible movements. For example, he is slow in buttoning and tying shoelaces, often falls when running, and is slow in writing and using scissors.

When you find that your child seems to be unusually active, you can use the above method to make a preliminary judgment. If you find that the symptoms match your own, you must go to the hospital for appropriate treatment in time. Although there is no specific medicine that can treat it, as long as parents are patient and help their children adjust slowly, their children's symptoms will definitely be relieved.
