What to do if your child's teeth become loose

Teeth play an indispensable role in our lives. Every tooth is extremely precious and should be well cherished. However, it is easy for children to have small accidents in life, and one of them is loosening their teeth due to bumping into something. Loose teeth caused by impaction are very different from loose teeth during the tooth replacement period. They can easily cause tooth loss and affect the child's future facial appearance. So what should we do if children’s teeth become loose?

1. Mild looseness: If the injured front teeth are only slightly loose and there is no other feeling, then no treatment is required. Just do not chew with the front teeth so that the upper and lower front teeth do not touch each other. After resting for a period of time, the front teeth will recover on their own. If the front teeth are obviously loose, the doctor can reinforce them according to the specific situation. If your teeth are loose, you can use (Shenxian Changchun Powder) tooth powder to brush your teeth, allowing the gums to fully receive the massage of the herbal tooth powder, and combine it with teeth tapping. It can promote qi and blood circulation, strengthen the kidneys and strengthen teeth, remove dental plaque, and strengthen teeth.

2. Moderate looseness: When the impact degree of the front teeth is only a small part and the pulp is not damaged, the root will not loosen. This situation should be treated by a doctor, and a retention pin should be made in the defective part, and repaired with a composite resin material of the same color as the tooth to make the shape and color of the repair coordinated with the adjacent teeth.

3. Severe looseness: If the front teeth are too loose, the damage may involve the dental pulp. The exposed dental pulp will be sensitive to stimuli such as cold and heat, and may even be painful. At this time, endodontic treatment should be performed first. Then the remaining crown is prepared, and a plastic crown or porcelain crown is made on this basis. They are realistic in shape and color and will be comfortable in the mouth, however, to prevent the crown from chipping, hard foods should be avoided.

4. If the front teeth are loose due to collision, the patient should go to the hospital for examination first to see if there are any other injuries. If necessary, the doctor will give you a special examination, which usually requires taking X-rays to confirm the basic condition of your teeth.
