What to do if your child has red spots on his face

It is a common problem for children to have red spots on their faces. In fact, it is eczema on the child’s face. There are many reasons for eczema on a child’s face, such as not paying attention to the child’s diet, leading to allergies, or it is caused by factors such as the child’s living environment. So what should we do if a child has red spots on his face? Let’s take a look at the detailed explanation below.

Allergic eczema, also known as atopic dermatitis, is an itchy, inflammatory condition of the skin that tends to come and go. Eczema is usually the first symptom of allergies in babies and is not contagious through contact. The skin of babies with allergic eczema becomes very itchy and inflamed, causing redness, swelling, cracking, oozing, scabbing and peeling. Between flare-ups, the skin may appear normal, or it may become affected by chronic eczema, with dryness, thickening, and itching in the affected areas. Here I would like to introduce three Chinese medicine treatments to you.

1. Ingredients: Poria peel 4g, Chuanbixie 4g, Smilax glabra 4g, Atractylodes macrocephala 2g, Citrus aurantium 2g, Kochia scoparia fruit 2g, Amomum villosum 2g.

Function: Mainly for clearing away dampness and heat, and strengthening the spleen.

Indications: Infant eczema with damp-heat type.

2. Ingredients: Xanthium sibiricum 30g Cnidium monnieri 15g Dictamni 15g Atractylodes lancea 15g Sophora flavescens 15g Shengjun 15g Phellodendron chinense 15g Kochia scoparia 15g

Usage: decoct in water, take the filtrate and wash the affected area after it cools down. Take 1 dose per day, wash once in the morning, noon and evening. This is the dosage for children aged 2 to 3 years old. For children under 1 year old, reduce the dosage by 1/3.

Function: Detoxify, eliminate dampness, eliminate rashes and spots.

Indications: Eczema in infants and young children. Symptoms include papular eczema on the forehead and face, with yellow secretions oozing out, or scattered all over the body, purple-red fingerprints, and a moist tongue with a thin white coating.

3. Black fish head: Put the black fish head on the tile and roast it until it is charred, grind it into powder, then mix it with sesame oil and apply it to the affected area. It is very effective.

When small red spots appear on the child's face, parents must be careful not to be too nervous. They should pay attention to the child's diet to see if there is anything inappropriate and make timely adjustments for the child. They should also pay attention to the situation where the child's eczema does not subside. They should take the child to the hospital for examination and treatment in time, and do not let the child eat fishy and spicy food.
