Does anyone know what's going on with a child's fever?

In daily life, we often find that children have fever all over the body. Although it is normal for children to have low immunity and get sick with fever during childhood, if a child has a fever all over the body and it does not go away, it may cause damage to the child's intelligence and other aspects in serious cases. If we want to cure it, we need to understand why children have fever all over their body?

Fever is a normal reaction of the body to fight against pathogen infection. If the body temperature does not exceed 38.5 degrees Celsius, antipyretics are generally not needed. If the body temperature exceeds 38.5 degrees Celsius, you can take some antipyretic drugs, such as Motrin.

Fever is often related to infection. It is very important to identify the cause as much as possible for treatment and medication. Therefore, it is recommended that if you still have a fever tomorrow, you can check your blood routine and mycoplasma antibodies to see the blood picture and whether the mycoplasma antibody IgM is positive. If there is a bacterial infection, you can use second-generation or third-generation cephalosporin antibiotics for treatment. If there is a mycoplasma infection, azithromycin can be used for treatment. If the body temperature is around 38 degrees Celsius, physical cooling can be used temporarily. You can wipe the child's back, armpits, thighs, etc. with a wet towel. In addition, soak the feet in warm water.

Because children have poor ability to adapt to the external environment and their immune systems are not yet fully developed, any discomfort can easily lead to fever symptoms, or their body temperature may rise again quickly after taking medicine to reduce the fever. Especially in the hot summer, if parents use the air conditioner improperly or the baby drinks less water and cannot adapt to the high temperature weather, it will cause repeated fever.

There are many causes of fever: mainly bacterial and viral invasion, which cause respiratory and gastrointestinal infections and lead to fever. What parents can do is to provide adequate nutrition according to the child's age and physical development, and add complementary foods in a timely, reasonable and balanced manner.

Parents should be especially reminded that if their child has a fever for more than three consecutive days without improvement or if the baby has a high fever or convulsions, they should seek medical attention in time to identify the cause and provide symptomatic treatment.

I believe everyone has understood a little bit through my introduction. Knowing what causes children to have a fever, mothers should use this information to check whether their children are affected by these factors. In the future, they should resolutely eliminate these factors to avoid causing harm to their children. At the same time, if the child has a fever all over the body, he should go to the hospital for treatment in time to avoid delaying the child.
