Child fell off the bed

Child fell off the bed

Almost all babies often fall down, but the most memorable one is falling off the bed. Most people have fallen off the bed when they were young, but generally there is no problem, so the older generation doesn’t care much about it. They think it is normal for children to fall off the bed, and there is no big problem as long as they cover it up when sleeping. However, young parents will also be very worried and distressed. Will there be any problem if their children fall off the bed?

Emergency treatment

1. If the baby shows symptoms of coma, convulsions, or vomiting, do not move the baby and wait for the ambulance to arrive.

2. If your baby vomits, make sure he or she lies on his or her side to prevent the vomit from blocking the trachea.

3. If you fall and bleed, first press the wound with a clean towel to stop the bleeding.

4. If a swelling occurs, you can apply cold compress within 24 hours.

Post-mortem observation

1. If the fall is serious, pay attention to the situation, avoid excessive exercise, pay attention to sleep, and do not take a shower on the same day.

2. If there is no serious condition at the time, but you feel general weakness, daze, pale complexion, and frequent vomiting afterwards, you need to be sent to the hospital for neurosurgery examination immediately. Foreign body in the respiratory tract

If a foreign object enters the respiratory tract, the baby will first cough and may cough up blood. He may also experience symptoms such as breath holding, difficulty breathing, wheezing, and blue lips. Emergency treatment

If symptoms such as hoarseness, difficulty breathing, and blue lips occur, it means that a foreign object has entered the throat. Immediately lift the baby's feet with one hand and pat the baby's back with the other hand to let him spit it out. If he cannot spit it out, send to the hospital immediately.

If the baby only has paroxysmal coughing and difficulty breathing, and is accompanied by symptoms such as fever and sputum, it may be that a foreign object has entered the trachea. Keep the baby quiet, don't cry, don't use your hands to dig out the foreign object, and don't slap the baby when he coughs. Send the baby to the hospital for examination in time.

If suffocation occurs, it may be that a foreign object has entered the trachea and the patient needs to be rushed to the hospital for emergency treatment immediately.
