Baby ear eczema

Baby ear eczema

It is very common for babies to have auricular eczema. When this happens, they are prone to crying and scratching their ears with their hands, which often worsens the eczema and may sometimes cause infection. At this time, parents must use some medication for treatment under the guidance of a doctor in time. In addition, the child's nails should be trimmed to avoid scratches.

Baby ear eczema

My baby's ears are itchy and he often scratches them with his little hands, becoming extremely irritable. What's wrong? After carefully observing the inside of the baby's ears, I found clusters of papules and spots. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with ear eczema. Dear parents, do you know what ear eczema is?

Baby ear eczema refers to eczema that occurs in the ear canal. It is a type of baby eczema, a common skin disease in infancy, and an allergic disease. In babies, ear eczema can often be seen as red spots and papules in the ear canal, accompanied by paroxysmal severe itching, especially when it is warm. The baby may rub his ears on the pillow or the mother's clothes, or scratch them with his hands, becoming irritable, crying and restless, which often affects his health and sleep. If you scratch, rub, or wash the ear excessively, the eczema in the ear may worsen and even some fluid may seep out. Secondary infection often occurs due to skin damage, causing swelling of nearby lymph nodes, accompanied by symptoms such as fever and loss of appetite.
