Newborn baby face red spots

Newborn baby face red spots

If a newborn baby has some red spots on his face, don't be too nervous. The facial skin of a newborn baby will have some abnormal reactions. At this time, it only needs careful care to get better. Symptoms of skin sensitivity may also occur, so you should pay attention to the environment they live in. The air quality should not be too poor. If other symptoms occur, you should go to the hospital for examination.

1. Seasonal skin sensitivity

Some people will experience more serious skin allergy problems when the seasons change: dryness, itching, peeling, erythema, etc. Skin sensitivity is related to dry skin, as well as to the environment, climate, age, food and cosmetics. People who are prone to allergies should pay more attention to the balanced intake of dietary nutrition, eat more fruits and vegetables, and less fish, shrimp, beef, mutton, greasy, sweet and irritating food.

If allergic symptoms occur, stop using any cosmetics immediately and observe and care for your skin. During this period, do not wash your face with too hot water to avoid irritating the skin, and pay attention to sun protection.

2. Allergies to cosmetics

Certain ingredients in cosmetics can cause skin allergies, irritate skin cells, and cause skin cells to produce antibodies, leading to allergies. If skin allergies are caused by improper use of cosmetics, you should not use ointments for treating general skin diseases at will. Otherwise, it will cause rough skin, pigmentation, and aggravate the skin disease.

3. Neurodermatitis

Neurodermatitis is a common itchy skin disease in adults. The cause of the disease is generally believed to be related to mental factors, such as emotional excitement, excessive work stress, sadness and anxiety, etc. Severe itching is the characteristic of this disease. The skin becomes thicker after scratching, but the boundaries are clear and there is no scale. It is light red in the early stage, and then there is local pigmentation, which often occurs around the neck, behind the elbows, buttocks and sides of the calves.

4. Peach Blossom Ringworm

Peach blossom ringworm is a skin allergy reaction. Some light pink, round red spots will appear on the face. They will be itchy and a little peeling. Because it often occurs in the spring when flowers are blooming, it is called "peach blossom ringworm".

This skin disease begins in spring and subsides in summer and autumn. The main symptoms are whitish or reddish round or oval patches on the face with small scales attached to the surface, and sometimes itching. It is more common on the face, but can also be seen on the upper arms, neck, and shoulders. It is common in people with allergic constitution, and is also related to factors such as excessive exposure to wind and sun, indigestion, vitamin deficiency, dry skin, and the use of inferior cosmetics. Do not use anti-tinea drugs indiscriminately, otherwise it will aggravate the condition.
