What should I do if my baby has a dry nose?

Generally, adults will have dry nose in spring and autumn. In fact, it is more likely for babies to have dry nose because their bodies are not fully developed yet. If parents neglect their children's bodies, it will cause a series of diseases. The most obvious thing is that the baby will have a dry nose or even stuffy nose. At this time, parents will definitely be very anxious. Here is what to do when the baby's nose is dry.

1. Pull the Yintang acupoint

The Yintang point is located on the face of the human body, at the midpoint of the line connecting the two eyebrows. Use your bent thumb and index finger to gently pinch the Yintang acupoint and rub it gently and slowly until you feel numbness and swelling in the area.

Generally, knead for 2 minutes. Clearing the head and improving eyesight, unblocking the nose and opening the orifices, pulling the Yintang acupoint can increase the proliferation ability of the nasal mucosal epithelial cells, promote mucus secretion, keep the nasal cavity moist, and stimulate the olfactory cells to make the sense of smell more sensitive, thus preventing colds and respiratory diseases.

2. Hot water fumigation

In a heated room, I often feel dry and stuffy nose, which is very uncomfortable. At this time, you can pour a cup of hot water, let the steam fumigate your nasal cavity, and take deep breaths into the cup for about 2 minutes.

3. Drink water in small sips

When drinking water, it is best to drink in small sips, in small amounts and multiple times. Do not take too large gulps at once, otherwise the body will not be able to absorb it effectively. Drinking too many gulps of water is like a sudden heavy rain. Especially for people with poor circulation and blocked meridians, it can cause local "flooding" in the body, also known as edema.

4. Recommended dietary therapy: Double silver lily soup

Put a piece of Tremella, 5-8 ginkgo, 5 grams of lily, and appropriate amount of rock sugar or honey into a thermos cup at the same time, and soak it in water above 70 degrees (the temperature of hot water in our office water dispenser) for 1 hour.

About an hour.

Through the brief introduction above, you should now know what to do if your baby has a dry nose. Then, in daily life, you can deal with it easily. This is also very beneficial for your child, because your early conditioning will make your child feel very comfortable, so that they can grow up better and healthier.
