When is the feeding time for newborn baby?

Raising a baby is a very important thing. Many first-time mothers do not know how to feed their babies. In fact, breast milk is the best food. Newborns do not understand some of the external environment, so more attention should be paid. So when is the time for each feeding of a newborn?

1. Feed the baby fully

Make sure to feed the baby fully each time. When breastfeeding, feed for 10 to 15 minutes on each side. We often joke with our babies, "This is not a snack." Try to keep your baby awake while feeding. If your baby starts to doze off before he's full, scratch his feet, rub his cheeks, or hold the nipple back. Try to feed your baby enough to last until the next feeding.

2. Try to follow the "feed-play-sleep" cycle

During the day, don't let your baby sleep right after feeding. If you play with your baby after feeding, he will be very happy because he has just eaten and feels satisfied. If you wait until your baby is tired from playing before going to bed, he will sleep more soundly and longer. When the next feeding time comes, the baby wakes up with an empty stomach ready to feed.

Many people adopt the "feeding-sleep-playing" cycle. I think this cycle will cause the baby to wake up in a semi-hungry state and not be able to play happily. The baby may also feel a little tired because the sleep is not deep or short. If the baby is in a half-hungry, half-tired state when he wakes up, he will definitely cry a lot. At this time, the mother is likely to feed the baby in advance when the baby’s stomach is not yet empty. As a result, the baby develops the habit of eating snacks all day long, which is a vicious circle.

When is the best time to feed a newborn baby? This issue was introduced above. I wonder if you mothers have some understanding of it. The time and amount of feeding are also regular. Do not let your child eat too much, as this will easily cause spitting up. I hope you mothers can learn more about this knowledge.
