What should you pay attention to when your baby is swimming?

Children's metabolism is very active. Because they are in an important stage of growth and development, the waste secreted from their bodies needs to be cleaned in time to prevent various diseases and prevent infants from being infected by various bacteria and then causing inflammation due to unclean bodies. This is not good for the child's own physical development. Therefore, you can take a bath or swim frequently. Swimming is a good choice. But you should pay attention to the following issues when swimming.

Swimming time should not be too long. Parents should control the baby's swimming time and amount of exercise in the water. The longer the better is not necessarily the case.

The first time a baby swims, it only needs 7 minutes. Later, the time can be extended to 15 to 20 minutes depending on the situation, and the longest time should not exceed 30 minutes. At the same time, you should control the amount of exercise your baby does in the water. He should neither float motionless nor move his limbs constantly.

If the baby swims for too long or exercises too much in the water, it will cause a certain degree of fatigue, and in severe cases, he may even faint. Give your baby a certain amount of initiative when swimming. During the baby's swimming process, the safe monitoring distance between the mother and the baby should be kept within an arm's length. Mothers should not use the swimming ring to move the baby back and forth in the pool. Instead, they can hold the baby's hand and let the baby move in the water.

1. The water temperature should be between 38-40 degrees, and the room temperature should not be lower than 20 degrees

2. The baby can swim about 20 minutes after feeding, and don't feed too much

3. When buying a swimming ring, you should decide based on the size of your baby's head. Don't inflate it too much when using it. Just 90% of the air will do, otherwise it will get stuck to the baby.

4. When putting your baby into the swimming pool, be careful not to get the baby stuck.

5. Parents must stay with the baby, pay attention to safety, encourage him, and tease him.

6. Start with a gradual increase in duration. Do not overdo it. 10-15 minutes is appropriate to avoid causing the baby to rebel.

When swimming, children can not only wash off the dirt on their bodies, but also exercise in the water. However, be careful not to swim for too long when swimming, and do not damage the baby's delicate skin. Take various safety measures in advance to prevent damage to the baby's body. I hope your baby grows up healthily.
