Babies are very prone to upper respiratory tract infections, and after an upper respiratory tract infection, many babies will develop rhinitis to a greater or lesser extent. Generally speaking, upper respiratory tract infections can be cured in about seven days, but a runny nose may last for a long time, more than a month. This indicates possible rhinitis.
