There is a hard lump in the middle of the baby's upper abdomen

A series of abnormal conditions in the baby's body will cause parents to worry extremely. The baby's stomach and intestines can be said to be the most vulnerable area in the body, so the baby's chance of having gastrointestinal problems is much higher than that of adults. Some parents may find lumps on their baby's stomach when bathing or taking care of their baby. So what disease could be causing the hard lumps on the baby's stomach?

1. If a hard lump is found in the middle of the baby's upper abdomen and there are no discomfort symptoms, it may be a local fibroma or a lipoma. However, if it is in the abdominal cavity, the most likely lump is a space-occupying lesion. It is best to have an abdominal B-ultrasound to find out the cause. If the mass is inside the abdominal wall, it is a manifestation of a lipoma or fibroma. If it is inside the abdominal cavity, an abdominal ultrasound is required for a confirmed diagnosis.

2. If there is a lump in the middle part of the baby's upper abdomen, which refers to the left side of the middle of the abdomen, it is possible that feces is accumulated in the sigmoid colon of the large intestine, which may be related to dry stool. The lump on the right side of the middle abdomen has nothing to do with dry stool. Go to the hospital and do some tests if necessary, and you will understand.

3. Check whether the baby's upper abdominal lump has any symptoms of suppuration in case it is transformed from local pus. It is necessary to do a color B-ultrasound for superficial lumps. It is difficult to judge without examination now. Just observe it now. If you are worried, go to the hospital's surgery department for examination.

4. Baoer may also have intestinal lymph node inflammation, which leads to pain and lumps. It is recommended that you take amoxicillin and belladonna tablets for treatment. If you vomit, you can take Chicken Gizzard Powder for treatment.

5. There is a hard lump in the middle of the abdomen. It may be abdominal distension caused by indigestion, or it may be a lump formed by gastrointestinal peristalsis. Check the abdomen with B-ultrasound to find out the cause and whether the lump is long-term or temporary. Only after finding out the cause can drug treatment be given.

6. Considering that it is related to hernia, it is recommended to go to the hospital to find out the cause so as to confirm the diagnosis and provide symptomatic treatment.

Infantile hernia is a condition in which symptoms begin to appear soon after birth. Usually when a child is crying, exercising vigorously, or has dry stools, there will be a protruding lump in the groin, which sometimes extends to the scrotum or labia area; it will disappear on its own when the child lies flat or is pressed with the hands. In the early stages of pediatric hernia, the swelling may disappear when the child lies flat and quiet; as the intra-abdominal pressure continues to increase, the swelling may drop into the scrotum. At this time, if the factors causing increased intra-abdominal pressure can be eliminated, and the child can be made to lie flat, or the swelling can be gently pushed toward the abdominal cavity, the swelling can return to the abdominal cavity through the channel through which the testicle descends, and the swelling disappears. This situation is called reducible hernia. If the tumor cannot be returned to the abdominal cavity, the abdominal pain will intensify, the baby will cry incessantly, and then vomiting and abdominal distension will occur.
