Baby feeding and care methods

In fact, in daily life, people who have just become parents may not be familiar with some care methods, or even unfamiliar with them, so they need to learn how to feed and care for their babies. Let us learn about the methods of feeding and caring for babies.

First month:

During this period, the baby's body begins to grow strong and his facial expressions gradually become richer. At this time, you should hold the baby often and give him/her plenty of maternal love. Newborns, who used to sleep most of the day, will keep their eyes open longer and sleep relatively less during this period. Some of the unique reflex behaviors of the neonatal period gradually disappear and are replaced by conscious actions.

Developmental indicators:

Systematic parenting knowledge and scientific parenting methods. Children's crying can be stopped by hearing pleasant sounds. They have relatively complete unconditional reflexes such as foraging, sucking, swallowing, holding, and walking. Their body temperature rises and falls with the ambient temperature. They sleep 16 to 22 hours a day and are awake for an average of 3 to 7 minutes every hour.

Training Methods:

Smile at your baby often. During this period, mothers should smile at their children often. If your baby is looking at you, you can smile and say to him, "Baby, smile?" Repeat this many times and your child will remember to smile when he sees people. For babies, laughter is the first step in communicating with adults and is very important for intellectual development.

Second month:

Babies at this age pay close attention to sounds and language. The mother can then shake a noisy toy next to the child. He will follow the sound and keep looking at the place where the sound comes from. If you tease him with some words at the same time, he will be very happy. You can also play some light music for your child, and play it to him repeatedly every day when he is happy, which can increase his happy mood. These will enhance the baby's brain activity and promote intellectual development.

Developmental indicators:

He will smile when teased, his eyes can follow objects in the horizontal direction, he can turn his head to search for the source of sound, he can lift his head for a moment when lying on his stomach, he can rotate his head freely, his fingers can open and close on their own, he can play with them on his chest, and he can suck his thumb.

Parenting tips:

1. Gradually establish a regular life of eating, playing and sleeping.

2. Talk, sing, and amuse your baby as much as possible, make your baby happy when he/she is awake, and train your baby's hearing with different sounds in different directions.

3. When the weather is good, take your baby outdoors to breathe fresh air, observe the surrounding environment, and get some proper sunbathing.

4. Let your baby lie on his stomach for a while every day.

5. Hang brightly colored, animated toys for your baby to see, touch, and hold.

The above article has introduced some methods of baby feeding and care in detail. I believe that everyone has a relatively preliminary understanding, so in daily life, you still need to learn more about such knowledge, so that you will not be too panic when taking care of the baby.
