What are the causes of infantile colitis?

As we all know, there are certain causes for the occurrence of colitis. As the number of infants suffering from colitis increases, people are more eager to learn about the causes of infant colitis. For those who have infant colitis at home, timely finding out the causes of infant colitis can help the children get rid of the intrusion of colitis. So, what are the causes of infant colitis?

1. Infectious dysentery: Eating unclean food, most common bacterial dysentery, such as Shigella dysenteriae, pathogenic Escherichia coli, Gram-negative bacteria, and Staphylococcus aureus. Salmonella, etc. This disease mostly occurs between May and June each year. Filterable viruses are also the main cause of childhood enteritis, such as polio virus. Hepatitis B virus and other viruses of unknown causes can cause epidemic diarrhea. Diarrhea, which is prevalent between September and October every year, is mostly caused by filterable viruses. Protozoa and amoeba can cause diarrhea. Cases of amoeba have been found in newborns in the neighboring Philippines. In my country, due to improved environmental sanitation, such cases are relatively rare.

2. Systemic infection: Children may also suffer from diarrhea due to their weak resistance when they suffer from otitis media, pneumonia or pyelonephritis.

3. Diet: Indigestion, overeating, or a diet that is too concentrated with milk, fat, or too much starch can also cause indigestion and diarrhea.

4. Oral antibiotics: Some antibiotics can stimulate the intestines and cause diarrhea, while some antibiotics can inhibit the development of normal intestinal germs and cause excessive growth of pathogenic bacteria, resulting in diarrhea.

5. Gastrointestinal allergy: Some children are allergic to cow's milk and suffer from diarrhea.

6. Enzyme deficiency: Enzyme deficiency can be caused either primary or secondary to diarrhea.

7. Abnormal endocrine system.

8. Food poisoning, etc.: In addition to diarrhea, there is also severe vomiting.

Generally speaking, when a baby develops colitis, the main causes of the disease include gastrointestinal allergies, endocrine abnormalities, food poisoning and systemic infection. Therefore, only by understanding and eliminating the above-mentioned factors that induce infant colitis can we protect babies from the torture of colitis.
