Causes of high white blood cell count in babies

(7) The use of certain chemical drugs that increase white blood cells promotes an increase in white blood cells. This is often seen in patients whose white blood cell count decreases sharply during chemotherapy and radiotherapy, and who need to increase their white blood cells as quickly as possible for the next course of treatment.
