How to deal with itchy nose in children

What are the measures to deal with children's itchy nose? An itchy nose is a very common symptom. In daily life, both the elderly and children will experience this condition, especially children, because they are still very young. When their noses are itchy, they always can't help wanting to scratch their noses. If they are not allowed to scratch, they will cry and make a fuss because of the itching problem, which makes parents and friends very worried. So how can we stop the itchy nose? What are the measures to deal with children's itchy nose?

Prevention and control measures:

1. Avoid your baby's contact with allergens such as dust, mites, fungi, animal fur, feathers, etc. For example, do not use down pillows, down quilts and Simmons mattresses; do not let your baby get close to pets such as cats, dogs and birds. During the pollen spreading season, do not take your baby to places with lush flowers, plants and trees, and do not pick or smell flowers and plants at will.

2. Frequently remove dust in the room, open windows for ventilation, and keep the air fresh.

3. Do not feed your baby spicy food, fried food or seafood, and do not let him drink beverages excessively; eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, and drink more boiled water.

4. Take your baby outdoors often and develop a good habit of washing face and hands with cold water, which will improve the body's adaptability and resistance to external climate changes and help prevent diseases.

5. Turn over and wash sheets, pillows and other bedding frequently, and use miticides appropriately to reduce the breeding of dust mites.

6. If the child is allergic to fur or mites, remove all down pillows, down quilts, etc.; if the allergy is very severe, you can use anti-allergic drugs, which are available for local or systemic use. If it is a seasonal allergy, you can use the medicine to get through this period and then gradually stop using it.

7. If allergic rhinitis is caused by a cold, the main thing is to exercise and reduce colds, which can also play a preventive role; if allergic symptoms occur in September and October every year, you must take medication early for prevention, so that even if allergic rhinitis occurs, the symptoms will be alleviated.

The above are the countermeasures for children’s itchy nose. There are many reasons for itchy nose, so there are still many methods that can be adopted. However, the occurrence of itchy nose is actually closely related to our physical condition. Therefore, we must take our baby to the hospital for examination in time to determine the real situation and then treat it symptomatically. In terms of diet, we must eat more vegetables and fruits and supplement vitamins. I wish all children healthy growth.
