Check your child's eyesight regularly:

Usually, when a child complains that he cannot see what the teacher is writing on the blackboard, he has already become nearsighted. Therefore, as a parent, it is important to check your child's eyesight regularly. You can go to the hospital or some optical shops to check your eyesight.

Discovering that your child is nearsighted:

If your child's eyesight is not checked regularly, but suddenly he cannot see clearly, watches TV very close, or likes to squint, then it is very likely that he is nearsighted! In fact, for many children, by the time they discover they are nearsighted, their vision has already deteriorated and they need to wear glasses.

Pseudomyopia:

There are two types of myopia: pseudomyopia and true myopia. If the degree is still very shallow, it is recommended to educate children to massage their eyes frequently. The simplest way is to do eye exercises to stimulate the acupoints of the eyes, and vision will most likely gradually recover.

Wear appropriate glasses:

When your vision test results have reached a point where you must wear glasses, you have no choice but to get glasses; you should go to a regular hospital or optical shop to get glasses, and you should try them on to ensure that they are not blurry or dizzy. Some optical shops are not formal and their vision tests are very inaccurate. Inappropriate glasses can damage your eyes and even worsen your myopia.

Lens selection:

In the past, glasses were mostly made of glass and were a bit heavy. After wearing them for a long time, two depressions would usually be pressed down on the bridge of the nose. Now when you go to an optical shop to get glasses, resin lenses are usually recommended, which are more shatter-resistant and lighter in texture. Resin lenses are more expensive than glass lenses, and their disadvantage is that they are not as scratch-resistant as glass.

Eat foods that protect your eyesight:

After wearing glasses, you have to check your eyesight every year and replace glasses when necessary, so it is very troublesome if you are nearsighted. Parents can let their children eat foods that protect eyesight regularly, such as carrots, black beans soaked in vinegar, etc. They can also rotate their eyeballs frequently to restore their eyesight, or at least prevent their eyesight from getting worse.
