Is sepsis in children easy to treat?

Sepsis is a disease that is difficult to cure. Because it involves blood and the disease develops extremely rapidly, it makes treatment very difficult. So, is sepsis in children easy to treat? In fact, it is difficult to treat, because sepsis will cause the patient's physical condition to deteriorate, and children themselves have weak resistance and physical condition, so accidents are likely to occur during the treatment process.

1. Some of the children's immune systems are not fully developed, which makes it easy for diseases to take advantage of the situation and cause children to often suffer from certain diseases, which can easily lead to infections. Therefore, special attention should be paid to children's daily living hygiene and personal hygiene.

2. The usual manifestation of this disease is that the child will be very listless and his reaction will be slower than normal children. If it is the period of symptom onset, you will find that the child's body temperature has changed, and there may be symptoms of persistent fever. That is to say, if the child is abnormal, he needs to go to the hospital for examination.

3. If a child accidentally contracts this disease, antibiotics can be used for treatment, and the main route is injection. During treatment, you must pay attention to controlling the dosage and observe carefully to see if the child has any adverse reactions or side effects to the medicine. Make sure to use the medicine reasonably.

Septicemia refers to an acute systemic infection caused by pathogenic bacteria or conditionally pathogenic bacteria invading the blood circulation, growing and multiplying in the blood, and producing toxins. If the bacteria that invade the bloodstream are eliminated by the body's defense function and there are no obvious symptoms of toxemia, it is called bacteriemia. Sepsis accompanied by multiple abscesses and a long course is called pyemia. If sepsis is not quickly controlled, it can spread from the primary site of infection to other parts of the body, causing metastatic abscesses. Abscesses can occur on the surface of the brain, causing meningitis, in the membrane around the heart, causing pericarditis, on the lining of the heart, causing endocarditis, in the bone marrow, causing osteomyelitis, or in a large joint, causing joint pain or arthritis. Eventually, the accumulation of pus may form abscesses anywhere in the body, and in severe cases, infectious shock and migratory lesions may occur.
